Meet Kimber, an Account Manager at avad3! Before avad3, I've worked in the event industry for over 12 years, balancing planning, leadership, and mentoring while continuing to be a student along the way. Prior to events, I served in the health industry. The most inspiring part of my job is building strong collaborative relationships. In event production, my favorite aspect is bringing clients' visions to reality alongside a strong team of professionals. Outside of work, what makes me happiest is traveling and spending time with the ones I love. If I could have a superpower, it would be the ability to heal.

What's the fun and not-so-fun part of being a CEO of Skylar? 🤔 Well, let me tell you, it's definitely a mixed bag! On the bright side, there's the flexibility and the sheer joy of working with a diverse range of personalities: coaching security guards to become leaders. Love! Then, there's also the intense pressure of keeping our boutique thriving in a competitive market. I'm beyond grateful for my amazing team and supportive team members who've been with me from day one. They are the ones who make the journey worthwhile. It's the realization that success isn't just about numbers. It's about leaving a mark on our community and each other! What’s the best and the challenging part of your job? #CEOInsights #SkylarLeadership #PerksAndChallenges #LegacyBuilding

🙌 Hands up, Rams! 🐏 I coached my junior kindergarten’s basketball team this past winter and it had been 20 years since I had played along with the first time playing for many of the kids. I had to keep my coaching simple for the 6-week season, we just focused on one simple thing - hands up while on defense. 🏀 By the second game, every kid knew what to do on defense. The simple, yet easy, to remember lesson led us to an undefeated season! 🏆 As I have reflected on this lesson, I have discovered it can be applied quite easily in business. Here are a few things I have on repeat: 📈 Hit your number…this month, this quarter, this year 📞 Listen to the earnings call…every customer, every quarter 🔄 Recurring 1:1s…. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly - move but never cancel 🗓️ Bi-weekly team meetings…every other week 🛑 Pause for feedback…every slide, every question, always at the end of a meeting “Repetition is the key to success" as the famous basketball coach John Wooden once said, and it is definitely one of mine. ✨

“No one is responsible for your but you. You can have the best coaches, facilities, support, etc. but in the end it’s all on you.” By: Bechampionminded Something that life consistently shows me as I actively purse the traits to develop into a leader, are areas in my life that I can take accountability. That accountability matters for where our family business currently is, as well as how we can aggressively grow it to where our team has envisioned it going. For our team this means that we can’t blame others; we have to consistently, test, test, and retest. Learn additional skillsets, apply them, while also using our current skills to bring in outside revenue streams to reinvest into the vision. Because no one is coming to save us, simply the work is far from finished, there is more to do. The beauty of all the perseverance, is the purpose that is developed. And the excitement to go into battle everyday with your team! In today's video, I explore whether it’s better to hire a #great Lone Wolf or a #good Team Player as your sales closer. Lone Wolves excel at independent, high-stakes deals but can struggle with collaboration, while Team Players thrive on cooperation and shared success, but may rely more on others. There's no right answer—each has its pros and cons. Follow for more sales team leadership hacks every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday! #SalesLeadership #SalesCloser #TeamPlayer #LoneWolf #HiringTips #SalesSuccess #TeamBuilding #LeadershipHacks

'Team synergy' isn't just about 'Working together'. Pulling a bunch of people together and hoping for magic doesn't work. Want real teamwork synergy? You need a rock-solid team! So, how do you build one? It all starts with choosing the right people. When you’re putting a team together, you have the ability to choose your players. Just like in sports, you want to choose the best possible people for your team. And how do you spot the right team member? Look for skills. For me, it's not about where you've been, but what you know and can do. It takes all types of people to get the best results, but putting together a team is more than just talent hunting. Considering each person's strengths, weaknesses, personality, and how they fit with the team matters a lot. To me, synergy happens when everyone brings something unique to the table, creating something bigger than any of us could do on our own. Building this kind of synergy is super rewarding, but it takes time and effort. #TeamSynergy #Leadership #TeamBuilding
