It was an honor to share the stage at the Money Matters conference yesterday with Wim Mijs, CEO at European Banking Federation, Tom Arends, CEO & co-founder at Peaks, Colleen Dube, CEO at the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) and Anne-Sophie Parent, from AGE Platform Europe, hosted by FSMA and DG FISMA European Commission. Bond issues from Q2 2024 that push forward the boundaries of #DebtCapitalMarkets 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural benchmark-sized KfW bond issued as a central register security has been recognized by CMDportal among internationally well-established issuers from the FIG, Corporate, Covered Bonds and SSA segments as one of six TopDeals in Q2 2024. TopDeals, according to CMDportal, are those that push forward the boundaries of debt capital markets through their innovation, execution, or size. This can mean issuing the first bond in a market or format, attracting an outstanding order book, (re)opening market segments, or using innovative structures. 💬 CMDportal stated: “... The key underlying factor of this win was the team's ability to place this bond digitally. This significantly advances speed and efficiency within capital markets and demonstrates the ability for other issuers to modernize the bond placement process going forward. Furthermore, Deutsche Börse's digital D7 platform had already over 35,000 digital issuances totaling a combined EUR3.5bn. With the placement of KfW's inaugural benchmark bond on the platform, this deal overnight more than doubled the issuance volume on the platform and successfully demonstrated the platform's ability to facilitate future large and syndicated deals.” Honestly, we can't add anything to this, except a heartfelt thank you to CMDportal. 🙏 Pushing forward boundaries is always a team effort. Our Securitisation and Structured Finance team have just returned from the annual #GlobalABS conference in Barcelona, where they spent three fantastic days meeting many of the other attendees, and Richard Jones and David Thomas contributed to panel discussions on Consumer ABS and #RelativeValue for Issuers Across Products.   Key takeaways the team took from the conference and panel sessions were:   1. The market is optimistic about deal flow over the coming year. 2. More importantly than pricing alone, treasurers want to achieve funding terms to allow flexibility to grow an evolving business – this requires upfront thought and experienced advisers who know the business. 3.
