R&D at Axplora is a global endeavor, fostering continuous sharing of knowledge and best practices. With over 130 R&D specialists based on 9 sites, the benefits of exchanging information and experiences across our locations are immense… delivering significant advantages to our customers' manufacturing projects! 👩🔬👨🔬 Recently, our R&D team in Leverkusen — Axplora’s Hazardous Chemistry and Process Safety Center of Excellence — conducted a knowledge-sharing session focused on the development and scale-up of highly energetic processes, such as dinitration reactions and reactions involving diazonium salts. Through the replacement of key chemicals in the processes, we dramatically improved process safety, scalability, and efficiency. Also, the key reagent amount was reduced by 20-30% with positive impact on cost and capacity. Yield increased by ~30% and quality reached >99%. All of this resulting in a viable large-scale manufacturing solution for our customer! 🤝 By collaborating with Axplora, you gain access to a wealth of expertise and cutting-edge solutions tailored to enhance your processes in terms of sustainability, safety, quality and cost. Let our innovative R&D specialists drive your project to success!
