Fancy ads don't work anymore UNLESS... They create a ripple effect on social media. A little disclaimer: My focus has never been on consumer brands – I mostly work with tech & crypto companies. But who doesn't like a good ad – especially knowing the science of branding and having studied hundreds of winning creatives of all time? Combining that with my social media expertise (this is gonna be a bit niche): If you want YOUR ADS TO WORK in 2024, consider its SOCIAL MEDIA IMPACT There are 5 brands outlined in the rating – yet only one of them (rhode skin with its phone case-lipstick holder): > has led to truly massive social media feedback: multiple videos with the case = millions of views > will likely result in significantly higher sales of the promoted product. Why? Because: ...it was developed with social media implementation IN MIND ...it's RELATABLE ...it resonates with MANY people ...they RESPOND and REPOST its user-generated content And it seems to be something that campaigns of McDonald's, Heinz, The Smart Vendor, and Siboire Microbrasserie haven't quite achieved yet – while being undoubtedly beautiful and genius.
