Two great takeaways from the Rise, created by Barclays / Fintech B2B Marketing Community event for #NYTechWeek:
1) Marketers will stay behind if they don't play with AI and learn with curiosity, via Zeev Wexler.
And, 2) Playing with AI is like having 1,000 interns at your disposal (via another speaker).
When Chat GPT emerged, many in the writing community were scared that AI would take our jobs (similar to many other industries/communities).
For me, AI has been a great tool to dig into metrics, make sure everything is scrubbed up (grammar, for instance, and many times I disagree and do not take AI's grammar suggestions -- which is kind of fun!), find quick research (with sources), etc.
I'm glad that I have a decade and a half of work experience, which has taught me where I need to dig in more, where AI can help me find more stats, when I shouldn't take AI's suggestions, etc. I can make good judgement calls learned from years of working **without** AI.
In my experience, AI **does** bring 1,000 interns at my disposal and we shouldn't be scared of these tools. We should instead play with them with curiosity to enhance the workday.
