Carnavale Resources Ltd (ASX:CAV) CEO Humphrey Hale joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s $2.2 million funding to support an expanded drilling program at the Kookynie #Gold Project in Western Australia. The funds will facilitate diamond and reverse circulation (RC) drilling to increase the resource base at the project, particularly at the Swiftsure Deposit. The placement saw the issuance of 666.7 million shares at A$0.0033 per share, with strong investor interest enabling Carnavale to surpass its initial A$2 million target. Recent metallurgical test results from Swiftsure have shown high gold recovery rates, ranging from 98.9% to 99.5%, with gravity gold recovery averaging 87.1%. Carbon-in-leach (CIL) tests achieved a 99.7% recovery rate. These findings suggest the project has strong economic potential. Maximus Resources Limited (ASX:MXR, OTC:MXRRF) managing director Tim Wither joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the positive results from Phase 2 drilling at #WattleGoldDam, near Kambalda, Western Australia. The drilling confirmed elevated #gold, with samples showing up to 1-metre at 8.05 g/t of gold. The site is positioned along the Spargoville shear zone, where a potential structural offset of the high-grade Wattle Dam Gold Mine has been identified. The discovery of biotite-amphibole alterations within the rock indicates promising #goldprospectivity, as biotite has historically been a marker for high-grade mineralisation at Wattle Dam. Wither noted that the Phase 2 results build confidence in the geological model and enhance future exploration prospects. Watch below ⬇  https://lnkd.in/eFT5RVJq ➡ The campaign aims to prove rare earth concentration, aiding in defining a resource, and explore the feasibility of in-situ recovery (ISR), a cost-effective method with lower capital requirements compared to traditional methods. ➡ Following drilling, samples will undergo bench-scale ISR tests to assess recovery potential, with results expected within a month or two.

The New England Granite Prospect has been a priority early-stage exploration target since I commenced with Yandal Resources Ltd in 2023. This internal granitoid is covered by shallow cover with broadly spaced historic air-core and RAB drilling, defining a large-scale regolith gold anomaly residing over the eastern intrusive margin. The strike length of the anomalous intrusive margin is more than 3.5km in length, presenting a very broad exploration search space. We recently completed two EIS-co-sponsored diamond holes to obtain structural information concerning the intrusive margin and test below the regolith anomalism. The results were very encouraging and highlighted several different styles of mineralisation, all associated with larger-scale structures that can be extrapolated. We are currently testing the structures more broadly with RC drilling. See the announcement below for details.
