This is statement I really want to share. I believe it's crucial to foster a culture of appreciation in the workplace. When employees and suppliers feel valued, they're more likely to go above and beyond. Addressing issues promptly and directly with employees is key to maintaining trust and respect. So many bosses today do not understand and are only interested in profit. There are many ways to show appreciation to your staff, and it does not have to be expensive. The trouble is too many bosses have fought, bullied and deceived their way to the top and not realised what they have lost from the business by getting there. They don't accept critical comment, they don’t like being stood up to. They need to look at why they have a huge turnover of staff and try to work out how to encourage people to stay. A happy workforce will bring an increase in both turnover and profit, but you need to know what it is your staff need.
