Our October Game Changers are scary good at what they do! 🎃 💚 To celebrate these spooktacularly wonderful Bambooligans, we asked them: What was your favorite Halloween costume and why? Jacob Keeth: My favorite halloween costume was a bat onesie I wore as a little kid. I was just young enough to think it looked super realistic and tough, it was plush. Also, that was one year I escaped the cold and we trick-or-treated with family on the beach in Southern California! Richard Wood: One year my mom mummified me with strips of an old white sheet. I was trick or treating with friends and as we were running to the next house my "bandages" unraveled and tripped me up. I landed on the asphalt and skinned up my knee pretty good, thus adding authentic blood to my costume. My 10 year old self found great satisfaction in answering "yes" when people asked if it was real. Zoe Theobald: I have a very vivid memory of a Buzz Lightyear costume that I made out of cardboard boxes when I was a kid, complete with wings. I was so proud of it! I'm not entirely sure how I landed on Buzz, but I was far more obsessed with the marker drawn buttons and details of the suit than I was with the character. It was a memorable year despite not being able to find any photo evidence of it. Rachelle Crowder: As a kid one of my favorite memories was making my costume as my favorite snack.... a bag of Cheetos. I borrowed a projector machine and projected a bag of Cheetos on the wall so I could make it HUGE (only those in a certain age bracket might know what I'm talking about ha ha), then traced it, colored it, and laminated the whole thing then put straps on and it was life size from shoulders to shins. Even the ingredients and details were on the back!! It was memorable because of how much work I put into it at age 12. Congratulations to our Game Changers — working with you is truly a treat! 🍬 🍫
