Today, we're honoring #WomensEqualityDay and celebrating the certification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote in 1920. Hear from Megan Croce, who leads Banfield’s legal & risk teams, on how we encourage the advancement and development of women leaders, while recognizing that there is still work to be done for women with intersecting identities and striving for equality and inclusion for all. 💜🧡 Katie Powell, Women of Banfield leader and Division VP of Field Operations, also shared what this day means to her: "As a woman leader at Banfield, gender equality is crucial to me because it ensures that diverse perspectives are heard, valued, and integrated into our decision-making processes. This drives innovation and better outcomes. With 80% of our workforce being female, it’s vital that we ensure our voices are heard, our contributions recognized, and our growth supported. I see this come to life every day at Banfield by seeing all associates, but especially other women, fostering an inclusive environment and encouraging each other to lead, innovate, and thrive at every level in the organization." Thanks to our Women of Banfield Diversity Resource Group and EI&D team for creating opportunities for our Associates to connect, celebrate, and lift up women in the practice. #BanfieldPetHospital #BanfieldLife #BanfieldCareers #WomenofBanfield #ProudlyMars #VeterinaryMedicine Megan Croce

July marks a pivotal moment in history: the anniversary of the Seneca Falls Convention, the first women's rights convention held in 1848. This groundbreaking event in Seneca Falls, New York, ignited the women's suffrage movement, setting the stage for over seventy years of relentless advocacy that culminated in the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Why It Matters: The Seneca Falls Convention was more than a meeting; it was a catalyst for change. Leaders like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott dared to envision a society where women enjoyed equal rights, an idea radical for its time. Their courage and determination inspire us to continue advocating for equality and inclusion in every aspect of life. Our Commitment: At Humano, we are proud to honor the legacy of the Seneca Falls Convention. We believe in empowering women, supporting gender equality, and fostering a workplace where every voice is heard and valued. This historic milestone reminds us of the progress made and the work still needed to achieve true equality. Join Us: Let's celebrate this milestone together and reflect on the progress we've made while committing to the ongoing journey toward equality. By championing diversity and inclusion, we can create a brighter, more equitable future for all. #WomensSuffrage #Empowerment #Humano #California #Insurance #WorkersComp #WorkersCompensation #Payroll #PrevailingWage #Companies #Contractors #Construction #ConstructionCompany #Manufacturing #BlueCollar

Reflecting on the University of Iowa Women's basketball win last night, it's clear we're living in a time of remarkable progress for women's achievements. I see this not only as a proud moment for Businessolver’s home state of Iowa but as a reflection of broader societal shifts. The Hawkeyes’ victory is a testament to the resilience, determination, and excellence of women in sports, it naturally had me reflecting on the progress we're making in the workplace. Our recent recognition by Newsweek as a Great Workplace for Women underscores this progress. It's a reminder of our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where women's achievements are celebrated. This accolade, much like the Hawkeyes’ success, signifies the ongoing shift towards greater gender equality and the importance of supporting and empowering women in every field. These shifts take time, focus and investment. As we close out Women's History month, let's renew our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, inspiring us to continue making spaces where women can thrive. Let's take time to reflect and celebrate these achievements as steps towards a future where the success and recognition of women's contributions are the norm, not the exception. Here's to the resilience, leadership, and excellence of women everywhere, propelling us forward. #IowaPride #Hawkeyes #WomensHistoryMonth #BusinessolverPride #Equality #Inclusion #Empowerment
