This past Friday, BHI CEO Gil Karni had the privilege of sharing some remarks at The Safe Foundation, Inc. Annual Summer Breakfast about the remarkable accomplishments that this non-profit organization has achieved. Since its inception in 2003, the SAFE Foundation has treated over 9,000 people – helping our communities combat the chronic disease of addiction – and meet those needs with holistic treatment options that embrace and support the person and strengthen our families and our communities. BHI has long been a proud partner of SAFE and was honored to join as a sponsor so the organization can continue helping support the communities it serves. We extend our thanks to the Haddad family and everyone over at SAFE for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this extremely impactful event. Aracelis, one of our Cove parents wrote, “[The Cove] provided a platform for open discussions about our loss, participation in grief-related events, and the opportunity to support and be present for others facing deep loss.” Messages such as this are the reason we continue to offer support to grieving families. If you are a Cove family, please feel free to reach out to ingrid@covect.org and let us know about your experience in our Family Program, Virtual Programs, or Camp Compassion. #nonprofit #ctnonprofit #griefsupport #griefawareness #bereavementsupport
