Did you know? Generative Consulting has a youth leadership branch? Lead Yourself Youth: https://lnkd.in/eQC9tuNK ✅Lead Yourself Youth has been in existence since 2016. ✅We engage in private engagements & are beginning to offer public educational sessions. ✅The feedback from our work has inspired us to grow our offerings. ✅We have a free educational event Jan 31 4-6pm in Hadley MA. If you’re a parent, educator, den leader, manager of Gen z in the workplace, come! 💓If you’re an adult & curious about ways to regulate yourself so you can connect meaningfully to the youth in your life, come! We will demonstrate this so you can take it forward. 💓We bring this work to youth because we’ve learned through working with adults that tuning into the body & hearing the subtle messages that inform safety, creating boundaries, and connecting meaningfully with others at the workplace are areas that could best serve digital generations. 🌉 We can bridge generational gaps by learning how to build cohesion between what our body & emotions tell us & the words we speak so that we’re not reacting in ways we, & others, may not fully understand. 🎉leadyourselfyouth.org to register🎉(link in comments)

Join us on July 25th for an illuminating look into what nature has to teach us about shared leadership and interdependence. Co-facilitator Cynthia Silva Parker shares her reflections for the session: "Here are a few messages about leadership that I internalized early in life. “Work HARD - harder than everyone else.” “Never let them see you sweat.” “Pull the extra weight so that others don’t have to be burdened.” “Make sure you have the best answers to the toughest questions.” “Be the best at the work we do.” Sound familiar? Turns out I’ve spent the better part of my adult life unlearning these lessons - and a few others - because they tend to undermine the health of collaborative efforts as much as they undermine my own health and well-being." Let’s support each other in unlearning, relearning, and reinventing leadership for these times! Register today: https://lnkd.in/ezCvPeBF

Advisor at GIZ, Researcher at Technical University of Darmstadt and PhD candidate for Adaptive Development and Reforms
With collective leadership, we can do anything. 👥 What an amazing week! The days I spent at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Implementing Public Policy program were some of the most inspiring of my life. I met with dedicated professionals from all over the world 🌍 who are united in one goal: solving complex problems to help our societies. We learned how to build a team that uses accountability and psychological safety to achieve successful reforms. 🌱We discovered principles and techniques of shared leadership to build a strong reform coalition. 🤝 Using the motivational approach of Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation, we practiced how to analyze the challenge we want to tackle and plan the first steps to solve it. My main takeaway: with curiosity, positive inquiry and empathy we can solve the challenges of humanity. 📝And: I finally got to meet my academic role models Matthew Andrews and Salimah Samji in person. I look forward to the next months of mentoring and exchange to improve our work as researchers and reformers.

I have delivered the Dynamic Leaders Tutelage in partnership with Auscontact Association since 2015 with consistent success and value over the years. Fran Southward (Auscontact CEO) and I had a chat about the program, how it has evolved (to remain relevant) and what leaders can expect when taking part. Take a look https://lnkd.in/gNbjkpet If you answer 'yes' to any of these questions then this training might be just what you're looking for: ✅ Are you a leader seeking to effectively guide your team in a rapidly evolving landscape? ✅ Do you want to foster independence within your team, increasing your ability to inspire and influence? ✅ Are you looking to thrive in dynamic situations, embracing flexibility and relinquishing unnecessary control? #dynamicleadership #leadership #professionaldevelopment #training #empowerment #shelleyflett #auscontactassociation #dynamicleadership #leadership #professionaldevelopment #training #empowerment #shelleyflett #auscontactassociation

Great reflective coaching session with Matt Dechaine today, thinking about leadership impact. It reminds me of the reading I did with Julian Stodd - thinking of the organisation as an ecosystem, being aware of our shadow - the impact we cause out of sight. This aspect of leadership is easily missed. https://lnkd.in/eN-uF9vS

Early Years Development ǀ Consultant: Emotional Wellbeing & Leadership Education ǀ Inner Leadership Coach ǀ Team Spirit Amplifier ǀ Professional & Spiritual DEI for Female Led Spaces
Really looking forward to this highly recommended Leadership Training in September. It covers all things surrounding racial healing, which unfortunately is too often overlooked or under acknowledged in many familial and organisational settings. It is my mission to create safer spaces to honestly talk about subjects that are difficult to broach, due to their potential deep emotional triggers. My goal is to build communities with developed listening skills who can be compasionately present and dynamic as a common practice. In educational settings non-evaluation listening skills are needed for all key stakeholders: children/students, parents and teachers/executives. Racialisation is one of the unspoken predominant lenses that we are subconsciously taught to use to view and interact with the world. Are you courageous enough to come to the Table to Talk about this in your community?
