Yesterday, I had the opportunity to participate in ICMM’s Responsible Mining Leadership Forum. The panel (#JustinRowntree, #CharleneWrigley, #AdamMatthews, #GuyBoggs) and I shared our views on how closing and re-purposing assets can help the mining sector earn society’s trust. If the sector is going to have community support for opening new mines we need to demonstrate we can, with partners, deliver on the shared vision for post mining land use. @ICMM #MiningWithPrinciples

The concept that you mentioned here is known as adherence to the mine plan, the key is the time period for the calculation (by month, by week, by day / shift) and related to the MOS which tools, sustained changes and managers / supervisors / workers behaviors are needed to maximize the outcome.
