Antipa Minerals Limited (ASX:AZY) managing director Roger Mason joins Proactive’s Elisha Newell after the explorer returned promising early results from a drilling program at the wholly owned Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project in WA’s Paterson Province. So far, the company has completed 39 reverse circulation holes out of the 71-hole program, with initial assays from the first six holes showcasing thick zones of high-grade, near-surface #gold and #copper mineralisation. Some of the best initial results include 66 metres at 1.4 g/t gold and 0.04% copper from 118 metres in hole, with notable intersections of 17 metres at 4.4 g/t gold from 157 metres and 4 metres at 15.5 g/t gold from 168 metres. Commenting on the results, Mason noted the potential for a substantial shallow, maiden resource at GEO-01, which remains open in multiple directions. via Kalkine Media Australia Viking Mines has received the results from the Pit Optimisation Study for the Canegrass Battery Minerals Project, Western Australia. The POS was conducted on the Canegrass by MEC Mining following a thorough industry standard process. As per the outcomes of the POS, the three deposits of the project have returned several pit shells reflecting the potential for positive economic viability under the set assumptions. The combination of current input cost parameters and commodity pricing and recent metallurgical results show outstanding potential for the project, says the firm. The results support advancement towards the strategic objectives of the company of building an operation with a >15 years mine life at 1.5-2.0Mtpa and with an average in-situ grade of 0.81% V2O5. Lunnon Metals Ltd (ASX:LM8, OTC:LNMLF) has struck broad intersections of #gold mineralisation in drilling at the Lady Herial prospect, part of the Kambalda Gold and Nickel Project near Foster in Western Australia. The company chose Lady Herial for follow-up diamond and reverse circulation (RC) drilling due to its near-surface, high-grade intercepts generated in previous drilling efforts. This latest program hit broad, shallow intersections of gold, including up to 18 metres at 5.27 g/t gold from 18 metres of depth in RC drilling, and 22.5 metres at 0.94 g/t gold from 8.5 metres in diamond drilling. "The re-focus on gold at Foster continues to deliver exciting results,” Lunnon managing director Edmund Ainscough said. “Recognising these near surface widths at good grade and also the presence of frequent visible free gold is especially encouraging for Lady Herial..."
