What efforts are you making personally to protect and preserve our environment? Environmental degradation directly impacts human health. That's one of the reasons we advocate for us to become environmental stewards and go eco-friendly! There is our planet, our land and our future! Let's keep the future generation in mind. 🤝 Enlisting the support of all stakeholders to figure out the best strategies in #ClimateAction is the cornerstone of our success in our over 6 years of operation. 🏆 #ElenaMartinez, our Head of #ResearchAndDevelopment, demonstrates how investing, empowering, and creating formal opportunities for vulnerable communities is a three-way victory: propelling growth of our operations with talented members, socio-economic development for the communities, and a win for all of us through environmental conservation and seaweed-based value-add products. . It’s all hands on deck to fight #ClimateChange. 💪 #SOSCarbon #SustainableDevelopment #Oceans #ClimateAction #AcciónClimática

Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game is pleased to announce the release of a five-year strategic plan, Connections: Working Together for Nature, to guide the agency’s work from 2025-2030! ⚡🐟 The plan establishes a bold and unifying vision for the Department, focusing on solutions at the intersection of biodiversity, climate change, and environmental justice while advancing the priorities of the Healey-Driscoll Administration and Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. "This plan reflects our agency’s commitment to respond with urgency to the most pressing challenges of today: unprecedented biodiversity loss, the climate crisis, and persistent environmental injustice,” said Department of Fish and Game Commissioner Tom O'Shea. “By aligning our efforts, this plan will allow our Department to rise to these challenges, expand our impact, and above all, better serve the people of Massachusetts.
