Construction projects are complex and disputes are inevitable. When these conflicts arise, having an expert witness can be the key to resolving issues effectively and fairly. Here’s why expert witnesses are crucial in construction disputes: 🔍 In-Depth Knowledge: Expert witnesses bring specialized knowledge and experience, helping to clarify technical details and industry standards that are often pivotal in construction cases. 🔍 Unbiased Perspective: They provide impartial, professional opinions that can help courts and arbitration panels understand the nuances of the dispute, ensuring a fair and just outcome. 🔍 Evidence-Based Testimony: Their testimony is grounded in factual analysis and evidence, which can be critical in proving or disproving claims related to construction defects, contract breaches, and other issues. When faced with a construction dispute, don’t leave anything to chance. Leverage the expertise of a qualified construction expert witness to ensure your case is presented with the highest level of technical accuracy and credibility. James Bremen, the head of Quinn Emanuel's Construction and Engineering Practice, and London-based Partner Mark Grasso have co-authored a chapter for the fifth edition of 'The Guide to Construction Arbitration' published by Global Arbitration Review. The chapter, titled 'Employers' Claims and Remedies', examines construction disputes that proceed to arbitration and are initiated by contractors.
