Quality is the name of the game. Inventory, as well as production, has to be quality driven. It's funny when I think about quality of work I immediately think about coaching. Whether it's inventory control, producing parts or learning to run a route you do not want to rush. Quality>quantity. Learn to perfect your craft with quality reps!
As someone who has worked in Inventory related jobs, hearing from members within my district of my position at WIS International talking about being left in the dark irks me. I understand that a lot of clients for my line of work prefer speed, but Accuracy should be prioritized above all else, not speed of Inventory. It only causes more roadbumps when prioritizing speed over accuracy. When I worked under Cory Jerr during my first tenure at Wesco Integrated Supply, Accuracy was more emphasized than the speed. Speed came over time, but it was never forced. At least under Cory's leadership in the Tool Crib.

Booze Barrels. This is in the USA. Most Spirits Maturation places are VAST and Scotland's no exception. We're told that we have 'about' 20 million Casks, in our dozens of completely-vast (and mainly anonymous) maturation complexes, all over Scotland. 'Official' figures. Of course, this is disingenuous balderdash. Many and various Industry Insiders I've spoken to, they say it's at least DOUBLE this amount, probably even more. I've been to see most of them. Some of them are SOOO huge, they invoke a response, in curious humans..."Crikey!". Even basic sums suggest, this bogus figure that we base our future on, is laughably tiny. No idea why Scots are constantly told this and why we undervalue Scotch Whisky so much? Well...I do actually. IF this isn't remotely true, why doesn't the Scotch Whisky Association just come out and say, "Victor, you don't know what you're talking about"? Why don't they even enter into the debate? What else are they hiding? It's THE biggest 'Red Flag', in the entire Scotch Whisky Industry. Why is everyone ignoring it? #ScotchWhiskyTruths
Palletized warehouses allow for more barrels to be stored in a single warehouse, while making it easier and safer for warehouse workers to move barrels around. This warehouse is at the Bulleit Distilling Co. in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and it's our Whisky Photo of the Week. For the record, I prefer barrels be stored on their sides. It's much more aesthetically pleasing to photograph them that way. ;)

Thr Effect of Rheum ribes Root (Rhubarb) on Menopausal Hot Flashes: A Randomized Double-Blind, Study-Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Abstract Background and objectives: Hot flashes are one of the most predominant complaints of menopause among women. The main treatment is hormone replacement therapy, which has side effects. Therefore, the use of plants with phytoestrogen has been suggested as an adjunctive treatment. This study aimed to estimate the efficacy of processed rhubarb (Rheum ribes L.) on hot flashes in postmenopausal women. Methods: This double-blind placebo-controlled trial was performed on postmenopausal women who were referred to public health centers at Iran University of Medical Sciences. Ninety postmenopausal women aged over 45 years with menopausal hot flashes were randomly assigned to two groups. The treatment group received 500 mg of encapsulated processed R. ribes twice a day for eight weeks, and the control group received placebo (starch powder) in the same manner. Data were collected using Blatt–Kupperman index at the start of the study, fourth and eighth weeks after the intervention. Descriptive and analytic statistics were used to analyze the data. Results: A total of 74 patients completed the study (39 participants in the intervention group and 35 in the control group). The results showed that R. ribes significantly decreased the mean of flashing in Blatt–Kupperman index four and eight weeks post-intervention (p<0.001). Rheum ribes showed no serious adverse effects. Conclusion: The findings of this study propose that treatment with R. ribes may be considered an adjunctive treatment for hot flashes in postmenopausal women.
