Yesterday our Digital Innovation Community met in Essen at BRYCK.COM. Our topic was the renaissance of open innovation. Three insights: 🚨Open innovation celebrates a renaissance, because it leverages synergies to save resources and time – crucial in todays complex, volatile and tense economic situation. 🚨Open innovation has grown-up – collaboration is going far beyond networking and ideation, with concrete results and business impact. 🚨We see new 'horizontal' cooperations popping-up – companies are collaboration more and more even within the same industries. Summary of the current project on green and digital transformation.

We need innovation! That's easy to say. But how do you get the right mindset for innovation in a company?   Sebastian Hoppe joined Grünenthal in 2022 in the Global IT department and was soon recommended for a Planning Lead role in the Commercial organisation. Like more than 80% of his colleagues, he has a personal development plan to guide him on his professional journey that is further supported by learning on the job, learning from peers, and dedicated training sessions.  Sebastian says that his time at Grünenthal has been instrumental in driving his professional growth and expanding his network. 💡 Sweden Innovation Days 2024 🧠 On the 20th and 21st of March, Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency, and Formas, a Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development, are hosting Sweden Innovation Days. Sweden Innovation Days is a yearly digital event aiming to connecting innovation actors from Sweden and other countries around the world. The ambition is to create a more sustainable world, through international partnerships and collaborative efforts. Last year, the focus was on why Sweden is a world leader within innovation, how we can enable innovation that has a positive environmental, social and economic impact, and how to take on today’s biggest challenges together.
