As digital platforms increasingly become a primary source of information for women regarding their intimate health issues, Bayer Philippines took a proactive step by participating in the SheSlays forum, organized by the Philippine Star during International Women's Month on March 19, 2024. This collaboration aimed to create safer online environment and counteract the spread of misinformation. Dr. Cialuj Agbayani-Cruz, an OB-GYN and fellow of the Philippine Society of Reproductive Medicine, spoke out about the need to educate and raise awareness on different women's health topics across social media to fight misinformation and myths that continue to persist. By addressing the persistence of myths and misinformation online, Dr. Agbayani-Cruz underscored the importance of recognizing the individuality of each woman's health concerns and the necessity for personalized medical consultations. This initiative highlights the #BayerForHer commitment to enhancing informed decision-making among women about their health by leveraging digital platforms for effective communication and education. #TeamBayer #ConversationsOfCare #HealthForAll

Empowering women through informed reproductive choices! Exercising reproductive agency requires full, free, and informed choice. Therefore, training healthcare providers to offer comprehensive information and respect for women's consent is crucial. Women must have the autonomy to make their own health decisions, potentially in consultation with family, but ultimately based on their consent. We are committed to educating the community about options like cesarean sections and addressing common knowledge gaps concerning costs, impacts on fertility, and the overall process to empower women to make informed decisions about their health. 🌍 Embracing Universal Health Coverage Day 2023! 🏥 As we commemorate this vital day, let's delve into the theme: "Health for All: Time for action." 🌐 The strides in reproductive health indicators in Kenya are noteworthy. Over the years, there has been a remarkable improvement, with increased access to maternal care, family planning, and antenatal services. 🤰🏾🌱 Maternal mortality rates have declined, showcasing the impact of comprehensive reproductive health programs. Contraceptive prevalence rates have risen, empowering individuals to make informed choices about family planning. These achievements reflect a collective commitment to ensuring that every Kenyan, regardless of their background, enjoys the right to good health. 🤝💙 However, our journey doesn't end here. To catalyze even more progress, let's unite and amplify our efforts. First, continuous investment in healthcare infrastructure and training is crucial. Strengthening the healthcare workforce ensures sustained quality care delivery. 📚🌐 Education is key! Empowering communities with knowledge about reproductive health fosters informed decision-making. This is the investment we are making here and beyond. By promoting awareness and dispelling myths, we pave the way for healthier futures. 🌍🤲 Let's advocate for policies that prioritize equitable access to healthcare. This includes ensuring that marginalized communities receive the support they need. Every voice matters, and together, we can shape policies that truly embody the spirit of Universal Health Coverage. 💡🌱 Lastly, fostering international collaborations and sharing best practices can propel us forward. Learning from global experiences enhances our ability to tailor interventions effectively, creating a ripple effect of positive change. 👩⚕️🌐 On this Universal Health Coverage Day, let's celebrate our achievements, acknowledge the work ahead, and commit to a future where health truly knows no boundaries. Together, we can make health a universal right for everyone! 🌟 #drpaulkoigi #dranzeze #UHCDay2023 #HealthForAll #KenyaHealthcare 🇰🇪 #kenyaat60🇰🇪🇰🇪 #health #reproductivehealth #FIGO #KOGS https://lnkd.in/dJrmMKZk

Women's health programs and interventions Women's health programs and interventions play a crucial role in improving the health and well-being of half the world's population. These initiatives not only focus on medical issues but also address the social, economic, and cultural formulas that women often face. Many countries have developed reproductive health care programs, promoting and ensuring access to contraceptive services, prenatal care, and antenatal care. Creative approaches to mental health and nutrition are also prioritized, addressing specific issues faced by women, such as postpartum depression and micronutrient deficiencies. Additionally, many programs emphasize the importance of sexual and reproductive health education, domestic violence prevention, and empowering women. These initiatives aim to build a safe and supportive environment for women, thereby improving their quality of life and providing equal opportunities. The development of women's health interventions requires the collaboration of governments, health organizations, and communities. Through these cooperative efforts, we can ensure that all women, regardless of their socioeconomic status, can access and promote comprehensive health care services.#GlobalHealthNews #HealthcareTrends #InternationalHealthcare #HealthcarePartners #PublicHealthOrganizations #GlobalHealthCollaboration #HealthPolicyAnalysis #GlobalHealthGovernance #EvidenceBasedPolicy #HealthTech #MedicalInnovation #DigitalHealth #AskTheExpert #HealthcareLeadership #MedicalExpertise #ComparativeHealthcare #GlobalHealthSystems #HealthcareModels WeeklyHealthRecap #GlobalHealthForecast #HealthcareFuture #strongbodyai #strongbody.ai #strongbody

Transforming Market Intelligence Into Actionable Insights ✨ Biotech, Dx, MedTech, Animal/Pet Expertise
Only 4% of global R&D funding goes towards women's health products and services This chronic underfunding not only stifles innovation, but holds back progress for half the population. Plus, women's health concerns are often not taken seriously or are quickly dismissed Diseases like endometriosis, affecting 1 in 10 women, remain severely underfunded and under-researched The siloed nature of women's healthcare is fragmented and frustrating, with different specialists handling different aspects of care What's missing? A personalized, holistic model that accounts for each woman's circumstances and provides adequate education and support. Too many women feel uninformed and unsupported when it comes to reproductive health, menopause, chronic conditions, etc. 💪🏻 I applaud and stand behind the trailblazers and leaders working to change this narrative through investments, advocacy, integrated care models, and a strong focus on the patient experience 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣'𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 - 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚. #Healthcare #WomensHealth #HealthcareEquity

Many women face problems like long waiting lists, varying quality of care and difficulties accessing women's health services. Women's Health Hubs, rolling out across the UK, could help by bringing services together. Looking at the first 17 hubs, we found: 🏥 Most areas of the UK didn't have a Women's Health Hub 👩⚕️ Hubs varied widely and provided services including coil fitting, help for heavy or painful periods, menopause and bladder issues 🙂 Women mostly had a positive experience of the hubs, but we need more information on how much difference they make to women's health. Experts call for policymakers and NHS leaders to design women's health hubs that meet local needs, involving diverse women in the process.
