We all get phishing emails. Most of these attacks happen because of simple human mistakes. When in doubt, always go straight to the source. For instance, if you receive a sketchy email claiming to be from PayPal asking for your info, don't trust it. Instead, open your browser and log in to your PayPal account directly, not through any link in the email. If there's a real notification, you'll see it there. Honestly, you often don't need to go that far to spot a phishing attempt. Just look at the email closely. You might notice odd details like the sender's email address or strange content, sometimes with spelling or grammar errors. These are usually clear signs that something's off.
Stay vigilant against phishing scams! The zero-trust approach emphasizes verifying emails before trusting them, even if they appear legitimate. Always double-check the sender's email address and be alert for red flags, such as urgent requests for personal information. When in doubt, do not click. Let's ensure our online interactions remain safe and secure. #InternetSafetyMonth #PhishingAwareness #ZeroTrust #ThinkAnew
