Hear from Dr. Gilbert Guajardo at Midland Oral Surgery as he shares his experience developing his practice alongside our ever-growing community of top-tier oral surgeons. While we all work toward the same goal, our practices maintain clinical autonomy and it’s incredible to see the individual approaches to patient care each surgeon takes. Investing in our staff is a Beacon priority as we continually seek ways to provide professional development opportunities that build connection and elevate our teams. Oral Surgery Hawaii recently brought together their staff from all four locations for an amazing day of discovery, learning, and growth in Honolulu. Our Director of Front Office Operations Bruce Mays, with 20-plus years in OMS administration, shared valuable insights on delivering a 5-star patient experience through empathy, teamwork, and the spirit of "ohana." Coming together to discuss innovative ideas and share best practices in order to serve our patients more efficiently is what Beacon is truly all about. We ended the day with some fun team bonding activities—Oreos and Skittles included! We appreciate the partnership with our OSH surgeons Dr. Craig Yamamoto, Dr. Eva Kiezik, Dr. Blake Kitamura, Dr. Michael Hironaka, DDS MD and Dr. Thomas Yamamoto to host such a memorable and engaging event!
