Efficient wooden element manufacturing with Kerto RIPA-technology For Paris Olympics in 2024 and it's The Athletes' Village is perfect practical showcase of sustainable hybrid construction. Paris is not just talking; it's taking action (again!). This is how mass events, like the Olympics, should be: an opportunity to advocate for new sustainable methods. "Every host city of the Summer Olympics tries to use them to power some major transformative project. Paris 2024 wants to make sustainability, rather than monumental construction, its chief legacy. Overall, 95% of the Olympics venues will be facilities that either already existed or that will be dismantled for reuse after the Games. This make-do-and-mend approach could, organizers hope, help provide a springboard for a green transformation of France’s construction industry. France hopes to cut carbon in the building sector as the European Union strives to reduce the bloc’s overall emissions by 55% by 2030."

♻ Scannell Properties France continues its sustainable growth strategy, redeveloping brownfield sites or renovating old buildings, with the acquisition and #redevelopment of a 34,250 sq m #multimodallogistics platform at the Port of Strasbourg in eastern France.   The Port of Strasbourg is France’s second largest river port which connects to major maritime hubs including Hamburg and Rotterdam. Situated 1km from the A35 motorway, 1km from the German border and with direct access to key rail and river transport networks, the port provides an ideal location for cross-border, multimodal and ecologically-responsible logistics operations. The plan: ✔ Complete renovation of the building into a modern Class A site ✔ Divide space to meet the needs of multiple tenants ✔ A 13,700 m² extension to increase the total surface area to 47,970 m² ️ ✔ BREEAM Official In-Use certification for sustainable building management   In terms of #energysaving, we are aiming for a 20 - 25% reduction in the building's energy consumption. 📣 We present the 20 winning proposals of the RE-CENTRE open call !   These are the proposals that will be funded by EUROCLUSTERS RE-CENTRE.
