Did you know honeybees consume about 7 pounds of honey to create 1 pound of wax? 🐝 Earlier this week, Bee Downtown set up shop at COPT Defense Properties where employees joined us to roll their own beeswax candles! With a bee-utiful view of their 2 beehives from the Patriot Ridge building, employees learned about the process of wax production and rendering, as well as the benefits and uses of beeswax.
