5: Stuck and Isolated: With limited international support, Afghanistan struggles to get the help it desperately needs.
6: Still Not Safe: There's still fighting and it's scary.
7: Can't Say Anything: It's risky to speak out against what's happening.

9: Don't Know What's Next: Nobody knows what will happen.
10: Feeling Alone: Afghanistan feels like it's all alone in this.

Shoulder to Shoulder with those who supported the USG and its allies. God bless the good people of Afghanistan. May one day you rise up out of the ashes.
The devastating reality that Afghanistan has been grappling with for nearly four years. Our nation is engulfed in a profound humanitarian crisis, with starvation and suffering, spread to every corner. The situation is dire, and the international community’s response has been heartbreakingly insufficient.
Children, the most innocent among us, are bearing the brunt of this crisis. They are going to bed hungry, waking up malnourished, and facing a future that seems increasingly bleak. Mothers& fathers, despite their tireless efforts, are unable to provide even the most basic necessities for their families. Healthcare is scarce, and our once-vibrant communities are now shadows of their former selves.
Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL) continues to fight against these odds, striving to deliver food, healthcare, and education to those in desperate need. We have not given up, but our resources are limited, and the challenges we face are monumental.
The world may have turned its gaze elsewhere; with crisis in all parts of the world, but we cannot afford to look away. The lack of action from the international community only intensifies the suffering. My dear friends, supporters& colleagues, Afghanistan needs our collective voice, our compassion, and our unwavering support now more than ever.

The main victims of war in Afghanistan are children. The children who should build the future of Afghanistan tomorrow are in misery today . These children should study , be physically and mentally strengthened , but unfortunately these children work to find food for themselves and their families. Can’t we do something for the future of these poor children ? Right now, 16 million children need help. They are deprived of going to school, they have no food to eat. Poverty and hunger have reached a peak in Afghanistan. Afghan children, Afghan youths and teenagers, especially Afghan girls need the support and aid of superpower countries. They need your collaborate and help to survive, study and achieve their dreams. Please save Afghanistan from the hands of the Taliban terrorist group .

Today marks 3 years since the Taliban seized control of #Afghanistan.
People in Afghanistan have been living through conflict for several decades. And while the US regime is over, there is still no peace.
Since the Taliban took power in 2021, people – especially women - are experiencing extreme levels of poverty and restrictions on their right to work, attend school and access international support. At least 90% of the population is currently living in poverty (IRC 2023).
Today, and every day, we stand in #solidarity with the people and #peacebuilders of Afghanistan. We stand with all those who are continuing to advocate for their freedoms, even in the most challenging environments.
We are working directly with local peacebuilders in Afghanistan to support them in building sustainable peace across the country.

A report from two weeks ago reveals that the United States sends $80 million to the Taliban every 10-15 days. Additionally, the UN reported that over $2 billion in cash flowed into Afghanistan after August 15, 2021. Unfortunately, this aid isn’t reaching those who need it; instead, it’s under Taliban control, funding religious schools, “Madarasas,” to train individuals as suicide bombers and “Jehadi” fighters against non-Muslims. Since the Taliban takeover, over 2 million youths have enrolled in Madarsas, graduating just a week ago. It’s crucial to note that normalizing the training of terrorists poses a threat beyond Afghanistan; these militants may be sent to destroy democracy and freedom in other Non-Muslim countries. Don’t let this happen with your tax money!

Women of Afghanistan, especially girls, are paying a heavy price for the mistakes made by Afghan politicians who were in power during the Republic era before the Taliban takeover. If national interests are not prioritized over personal benefits, Afghanistan will never progress, develop, or become a prosperous country—neither for men nor for women and girls.
It is never too late to start a new beginning. Afghan politicians should learn from the past and strive for the well-being and prosperity of the country with honesty and good intentions. If the goal is merely personal gain and popularity, success will never be achieved, and the country will never move in a positive direction.
On this #WorldYouthSkillsDay, let’s remember the youth of #Afghanistan, who face significant challenges due to conflict, displacement, and poverty. With 63.7 percent of Afghans under the age of 25, investing in and supporting their skills is not just a choice – it’s a responsibility. The current situation has left many young people unemployed, vulnerable, and without access to development opportunities. By investing in and empowering Afghan youth, we can create a brighter, more prosperous future for Afghanistan and its next generation.

To really understand the Israel-Palestine conflict, people need to put themselves in the shoes of a Palestinian refugee (most of the people in Gaza). What would you do if someone stole your house & livelihood, killed some of your family, & left the rest of you with nothing, to live in the squalor of a refugee camp? That is what Israel did to over 750,000 Palestinians in 1948, over 300,000 in 1967, over 250,000 since 1967, & MORE EVERY YEAR – simply because they are not Jewish. Most of the families in Gaza owned homes & farms where Israeli cities & towns now stand, which Israel literally stole from them. Most even still have their front door keys.

And how can anyone claim that this conflict started on October 7th when between 2000 & Oct 2023, Israeli soldiers & settlers killed nearly 2300 Palestinian children, including 43 children during the 9 months just before Oct 7th (names & details on BTselem.org).
Israel has also imposed a brutal 57 year occupation/apartheid on Palestinians, & a brutal blockade of Gaza since 2005 - both illegal under international law, immoral, & ongoing acts of war.

And when Palestinians have tried to protest peacefully, Israel shoots them in the knees, kills, or at least imprison & beat them. If you don't believe it, please read this 2020 Haaretz article titled: “42 Knees in One Day: Israeli Snipers Open Up About Shooting Gaza Protesters”: https://lnkd.in/g4VqQRzs
And if you still believe the lie that Israel has offered Palestinians many generous peace deals that they keep rejecting, please read this article: https://lnkd.in/g2_EV6dV
And now our government is actually helping Israel commit genocide. According to our own U.S. military, Israel has killed OVER 25,000 WOMEN & CHILDREN in the past 5 months: https://lnkd.in/gtQtw9zc
Can you imagine how big a pile of 25,000 dead mothers & children would be? Well our taxes are helping pay for it & it’s getting bigger every day.
Israel has also orphaned over 30,000 children, & has demolished the homes of around 1 million children, making them homeless during winter. And Israel is still blocking aid to these children, KILLING THEM WITH STARVATION, DEHYDRATION, & DISEASE, in addition to U.S. supplied bombs.

PLEASE WRITE & CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES & the White House to demand they stop helping Israel kill & starve children, commit war crimes, & maintain its brutal & racist apartheid, with our tax dollars & U.N. veto protection.
And here is University of Chicago Prof. John Mearsheimer explaining why our government does whatever #Israel wants:

Today my youngest child turns two years old.
She will eat a cupcake at school. She will paint with her fingers and run on a playground. She will sing and smile with us as we sing “happy birthday.” She will be warm tonight in her bed. She will request pancakes for breakfast as I close the door and leave her room….
This is not a dream—it is real.
The nightmare that children in Gaza are living is also real.
One in 6 children under age 2 is now undernourished. It is the youngest who are some of the most vulnerable to the current phase of mass violence—that of thirst and forced starvation.
We know these deaths, which will grow dramatically in the coming weeks, are by design. There are literally miles of aid trucks at Gaza’s border. Israel’s military will not let them pass. Adele Khodr of UNICEF urges that barriers to aid be dropped as “babies [are] slowly perishing under the world’s gaze.”
It’s easy to make a quick call letting your reps know you oppose the violence being inflicted upon children and other civilians in Gaza: https://lnkd.in/gK_K7D8B
