So, even though temperature showing is 39°C and feels like 49°C. Due to Pressure and Other Climatic Condintions, Today was the hottest day. Note that a few weeks back Temperature was 49°C feels like 56°C. But due to conditions it was better than this week. Safety tips: (Copied from Google) 1 - Use water wisely -> Drink about 1 cup of water per hour and at least 2-3 liters / 0.5-0.8 gallon per day. -> Wet your skin using a damp cloth, spray, or wet clothing. 2. Keep yourself cool -> When below 40˚C / 104˚F, fans cool the body. Do not use fans above 40˚C / 104˚F as the fans will heat the body. -> If you are using AC, set the thermostat to 27˚C / 81˚F and add a room fan. This will make the room feel 4˚C / 7˚F cooler. - > Seek shade and remember that it can be cooler outside in the shade. 3. Stay safe -> Extreme heat can be deadly. Avoid vigorous activity at peak heat hours. Seek medical attention if you or others feel faint, dizzy, or nauseous. -> Check on elderly above 65 years, neighbors, family, and friends. Especially check on those with heart, lung, or kidney conditions, a disability, and living alone.

We've reached the height of summer, the environmental conditions can be challenging. A few tips to protect your heart from high temperatures: · Dress for the heat. How is the weather condition in your area? In my area the heat is as if hell fire gate is opened, the weather is so hot to the extend that even kids can relate now. I can't count how many time in a day the kids jump to the bathroom to shower 😅 is now part of their daily routine. And so is important that we learn how to stay safe and be free from Heat stroke. I have put out simple things we can do to help cope with the hot weather.. 1. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration. 2. Dress appropriately: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing made of breathable fabrics. 3. Limit outdoor activities: Try to schedule outdoor activities for cooler times of the day, such as early morning or late evening. 4. Use sunscreen: Apply sunscreen with a high SPF( sun protector factor) to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. 5. Seek shade: If you have to be outdoors, look for shaded areas to avoid direct sun exposure. 6. Cool off: Take cool showers or baths, or use fans or air conditioning to lower your body temperature. 7. Check on vulnerable individuals: Keep an eye on children, elderly people, and pets, who are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses.
