Inclusive benefits play a crucial role in supporting LGBTQ+ employees. Employers can make a significant impact by offering comprehensive benefits such as: 🌈 Fertility and family planning: Include benefits for fertility treatments, surrogacy support, and adoption assistance. 🌈 Mental health support: Provide access to mental health resources tailored to LGBTQ+ needs. Creating a supportive environment helps all employees thrive. Just a reminder that Pride posts and t-shirts are great but the best way to support your LGBTQ+ employees is by creating a safe & inclusive workplace where they receive equitable benefits and healthcare. This Pride Month, review your policies to make sure they include domestic partner benefits, trans-inclusive healthcare and gender affirmation services, inclusive family formation benefits (such as coverage for adoption, IVF and surrogacy), and parental leave that includes non-biological parents.

THIS is why I work with Fertility Matters at Work. Changing the work landscape. Taking an employee centred approach. Engaging employers and employees with the need to create safe workspaces for everyone on a fertility journey. So they can be the best employees they can be. And eventually the best parents too. ##lgbtparenting #Inclusion #reproductiveequity
A week’s worth of reasons why employees leave.... there’s no recognition or support for LGBTQ+ family building. They are using surrogacy to have a baby. Met initially with.... “Why?” Not… 'How exciting', 'how lovely', 'what an amazing thing for you'. Laid bare for those at work to comment on. Can't you have children? Do you think you're Kim Kardashian? I thought you were single? I thought you were gay, why do you want kids? (Insert your own comment here _________________) Applications for parental orders in the UK have quadrupled in the last 10 years, signalling the increased need to understand this path to parenthood. Through our work with intended parents, we hear daily just how unprepared organisations are to support those on alternative paths to parenthood and how unsupported these employees feel. We’re here to support organisations to understand the diverse ways in which people build their families and how to implement inclusive fertility support as a fertility friendly employer. Over a weeklong event in November, The F Word at Work Live will bring together features lived experience and insights from this community within our panel on intersectionality: acknowledging and supporting diverse fertility experiences to help you create a more inclusive, supportive environment for your team. 🌈 Celebrating Pride Month: Supporting All Paths to Parenthood 🌈 As we honor Pride Month, it’s crucial for employers to recognize and support the diverse paths to parenthood that LGBTQ+ employees may choose. Here are some ways employers can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all families: 1. Inclusive Policies: Ensure your family leave policies are inclusive of all paths to parenthood, including adoption, surrogacy, and foster care. Provide equitable parental leave for all parents, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. 2. Comprehensive Benefits: Offer benefits that cover fertility treatments, adoption assistance, and surrogacy support. Make sure these benefits are clearly communicated and easily accessible (hint hint: we help with that). 3. Supportive Culture: Foster a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Encourage open conversations about different paths to parenthood and create support networks or employee resource groups for LGBTQ+ employees and parents. 4. Education and Training: Offer training for all employees on unique challenges for LGBTQ+ parents and ways to support employees. This helps build understanding and reduces stigma, creating a more supportive workplace for everyone. By implementing these strategies, employers can make a meaningful difference in the lives of their employees, fostering an environment where all families are valued and supported. Happy Pride Month! 🌈❤️ #PrideMonth #InclusiveWorkplace #SupportAllFamilies #DiversityAndInclusion #LGBTQParenthood #EmployerSupport

Want to know the secret to finding the perfect egg donor? Here are 3 key tips! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Consider the SOURCE 🏢 Here at Golden, we recommend you look at your clinic’s in-house egg donation program OR go to a specialty agency. Considering the source when selecting an egg donor is crucial for finding a reliable and credible donor. It helps to verify the donor’s background, medical history, and other important details. This will reduce the risk of complications and increase the chances of a successful match! Understand ARRANGEMENT TYPE 🤝 There are 3 basic types of arrangements… 🧡KNOWN: Intended Parents and egg donors have a direct relationship and know each other’s identities. 🧡SEMI-KNOWN: limited disclosure of identities, with access to non-identifying information. 🧡ANONYMOUS: no contact or knowledge of each other’s identities. Prioritize your SELECTION CRITERIA 😍 You're crafting a masterpiece, so let's do it right! Prioritize your selection criteria (health history, education, and physical attributes). You deserve nothing less than a perfect match when envisioning the family you're creating! #GoldenSurrogacy #EveryoneDeservesAFamily #becomeasurrogate #surrogacy #surrogate #surrogacystory #surrogacyjourney #surrogatefamily #surrogacyrocks #gestationalsurrogacy #proudsurrogate #surrogacyagency #intendedparents #family #fertility #lgbtq #lgbt
