🌟 A Milestone Moment & The Art of Pitching 🌟 I am excited to share some key updates from our journey at theMiracle. This week has been a whirlwind of pitching and getting everything ready for a big moment that's just around the corner: next week we're rolling out our public beta! 🚀 Pitching Our Heart Out: I've been out there every day this week with Daniel, meeting with Angel Investor and VCs, including some of the top names in Switzerland, to spread the word about our vision. Securing funding for our seed round is our top priority. With every pitch, we're getting sharper. It's all about networking, learning from each pitch session, and moving even faster. 📈 The Big Leap - Public Beta Launch: The night from Monday to Tuesday ushers in a new era with our public beta unveiling. Following last year's closed beta, we've refined our focus on benefits and experiences, streamlining based on the feedback received. This launch is just the start, embodying our 'Build in Public' ethos for ongoing improvement. Watch for our roadmap on Monday, detailing the features set to enhance our 90-day journey. ✍ Reflecting on the Journey: The excitement in our team is off the charts. We've put our all into getting here, and the idea of showing you what we've made has us all buzzing. We're super pumped to keep going, to keep building. We're all about making benefits and experiences easy to get through NFTs, and changing how we connect with brands, communities, and games. It's a big deal for us, and we're just getting started. Fantastic hike through the Presidio in SF with Tod Sacerdoti! We stopped at the Spire (see pic), and it was sobering to see what Andy Goldsworthy's creation looked like after it was burned in protest. Tod pointed out that the charred exterior has a more striking look, but it just made me sad. 😢 The conversation was super stimulating, however. Tod and I debated the merits of board intervention to maximize shareholder value in private companies. Because of the realities of venture capital, only the top companies in the portfolio end up mattering. So should VCs distract themselves by attempting to influence the outcomes in the rest of their portfolios, and is impacting those companies even possible? We both agreed that having a positive impact is difficult. My view is that VCs should utilize networks of operators who have industry expertise and execution chops to influence outcomes. To that end -- anyone need help? I'm here! 😉 🚀
