Simon chose Colorado Media School for its convenience and opportunities. Since graduating, he has been utilizing the diverse media skills he learned, such as show production, camera work, video editing, and communication in his daily duties. With aspirations to create feature films or write and direct a sci-fi TV series, Simon's advice to current students is to approach their courses with dedication. By demonstrating commitment to their career goals, students can receive invaluable resources and knowledge from instructors. As a seasoned poet and writer deeply passionate about science fiction, Simon has been an integral part of Denver's poetry community for over two decades. With experience hosting live performances at venues like the Mercury Cafe Open Mic, Simon's background as an English teacher also shines through his extensive knowledge of literature and mythology. In addition to his work at WeatherNation, Simon thrives as a freelance photographer and videographer. Whether capturing urban scenes or exploring mountain landscapes, his visual storytelling skills have garnered recognition since graduating from Colorado Media School.
