"Non -profits really need to understand the corporate landscape. I have this thing, which I talk about a lot, called the four purses, which helps people to understand that there are four distinct places within a corporate or a brand where they can access not just money, but resources. There's the HR purse, the CSR purse, or ESG as it's called now, terms come and go, whatever's trendy. And then there's the marketing purse, which is the huge purse and often untapped. And then there's the Philanthropic purse. Non -profits obviously know how to apply for grants, but they are less aware and skilled in targeting the CSR and marketing purses, which are the two biggest purses.
