Allyship means - spread the word - spearhead the movement! Lift your neighbors up - EQUITY requires ALLYSHIP!! Don't know what allyship is?
Taken from Oxford Dictionary
allyship (noun)
active support for the rights of a minority or marginalized group without being a member of it. Sample sentence: "This training should emphasize tangible ways that employees can practice allyship, such as speaking out against discrimination." I have found that there is a pretty good training module on LinkedIn Learning for Diversity, Inclusion, & Equity. Allyship is included in the module. I encourage everyone navigating in a world of people (all of us) to take this training. At least you can see what is going on in the corporate world, in our schools, in our government, and everywhere. It will only help all of us navigate the landscape of today's social justice movements.
