Before 40% of Americans can progress in integration and coordination, they need to move from half enough primary care, mental health, and womens health workforce/services/spending to sufficient. Even more important is the move from fewer and lesser delivery team members to most and best team members. This not only requires about 100 billion more for each of primary care, mental health, and womens health spending, there must be 300 billion taken from health care doing best. If I see claims for higher functions, I am going to ask to see where the money is going to come from and where it is going to go. Because most Americans are most behind by design, we must be very intentional about assessing proposals to address their basic needs.
Value-based care bridges the gap between primary care and behavioral health services. With support from Medicare’s incentive for value-based care, Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network connects patients like William who struggle with chronic conditions with the resources needed to cope with the psychological effects of their illness and live a healthier life, both physically and mentally. As clinicians, we need to work together to give patients the support they deserve. Mental illness is the only highly prevalent condition that I know of that doesn’t get assessed properly (or even assessed in the first place!) “before” healthcare providers and patients themselves slap on therapies randomly— drugs, psychotherapy, TMS, meditation, yoga… Isn’t that crazy? It’s time we take this illness seriously by actually assessing it properly and quickly — in a cost-effective manner that delivers actionable insights about the person, and speeds up triage to the right therapy or treatment by a HC professional. Preventing a drastic outcome and changing lives for the better should be THE primary goal when having the enormous responsibility to help people who are suffering. And this should not be delayed or expensive. Society demands this in 2024! This is why I personally invested in CLINICOM — a company whose mission is this, and is not distracted by the latest tech or unproven promise to patients. Powered by loads of clinical experience and validated by years of research by Dr. Nelson M. Handal, MD, DFAPA, its mission is pure. And accessible to the masses. Ask your clinician or Ignacio (Iggy) Handal about how you can access this comprehensive test. It may save a life. #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealth Dig A Little Deeper, Psychotherapy & Counselling Vinny Lobdell Whitfield Athey Stuart Adams Devin Daly Brandon Paul Marcus Couch Michael Gronau
Clinicom's mission goes beyond the initial assessment; it's about uncovering the full spectrum of an individual's mental health, including previously overlooked comorbid conditions. These insightful discoveries are what set us apart, offering a level of thoroughness that instills confidence in patients and clinicians alike. By providing such comprehensive resources, we ensure that every care plan is as detailed and effective as possible, truly aligning with the individual's needs for a brighter, healthier future. #Clinicom #mentalhealth #technology #clinicians #patienttestimonial #patients
