Change is inevitable, and so is the importance of succession planning in any successful organization. Case in point: Saban and Belichick, two of the greatest football coaches ever, are stepping away. The Patriots have already set their succession plan in motion with Jerod Mayo, who was identified as the successor and it's even written in his contract. As for replacing Saban, names are being tossed around, and opinions are divided. Some say, 'Better not hire ___,' others argue, 'He'll destroy the program,' while a few advocate, '___ is the only right choice.' The value of a clear succession plan cannot be overstated. It enables swift action, ensures the successor is prepared and trained for the role, brings less uncertainty to the team, and promotes continued success. Planning ahead isn't just a strategy; it's a necessity for sustainable achievement. #successionplanning #sports #humanresourses
