BHS Parent Teacher PRIDE is excited to share with you a new program that we are starting this year for our seniors: the Life Impact Award! With this program, seniors will be given the opportunity to select any person from their K-12th grade education who has impacted or inspired them. We need to raise $1,000 in the next few weeks so the pins and certificates can be purchased in bulk and distributed at no cost to each student. Watch video from another district - https://lnkd.in/g-BKeiKr Venmo your donation to @levorajenni today or drop off a check in the main office with “Life Impact Award Donation” in the memo line. We've raised a quarter of our goal of $1,000, so please consider making a donation toward this powerful recognition program today!

Helping #nonprofits demystify and secure #grants is an area I'm especially passionate about as a consultant. That made this testimonial from Zakya Gazey of PEARLS OF HOPE COMMUNITY CENTER is particularly meaningful: "Pearls has developed an amazing collaborative partnership with Nausheena at Nissa Consulting. Her dedication in building and maintaining a strong financial infrastructure within our organization was evident in all stages. I appreciate her attention to detail, her deliberate listening to understand and her innovative solutions to challenges are ingenious." A key part of our work together involved decoding the grants universe. I provided training on how foundations operate, what #funders look for, and tips for creating compelling proposals. By equipping Zakya and Pearls of Hope to pursue grants strategically, we opened up new funding possibilities for their organization. My goal is to demystify the grants process so nonprofits can fund the important work they do. I listen closely to understand each organization's specific needs and challenges. Then I offer customized #coaching and #training so they can find and win appropriate grants with confidence. If your nonprofit wants to pursue grants but finds the process opaque or intimidating, I can help. Let's have a conversation about your funding goals and how I can support your #capacity to win grant funding. I'm looking forward to learning about your work and exploring how we can partner to achieve success. https://lnkd.in/d5iaeKtG

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day for radical generosity! Every $20 donation helps to provide life-changing information to one more young adult. Megan’s Foundation is a very young tax-exempt 501c(3) non-profit & catalyst for real change & are laser focused on this one thing. Those closest to this issue (Title IX, Counselors, Student Wellness staff) know how desperately this is needed. Having distributed more than $107,000 to colleges and non-profits for programs to prevent relationship violence BEFORE it starts. A few results: at one school, 93% of participants said they now can recognize an unhealthy relationship & would stop it before it escalates. At another school, 87% of young men said they would intervene in a disrespectful situation to prevent it from escalating. Our website has more results: Megansfoundation.org. YOUR gift can empower young adults to hold each other accountable & stop it before it starts!

Each of us upholds or dismantles power systems every day, like when we choose where to put our hard-earned money on #givingtuesday. In a healthy democratic system, system-level power emerges from community empowerment. On the other hand, systemic disinvestment damages the connection between community and governance, and threatens the individual's ability to survive and thrive. You know the importance of teaching youth to recognize systemic power. The crucial next step is to invite youth to respectfully interrogate and collaborate with the system that will soon be theirs. I can think of no better organization that increases our capacity for community engagement than The Global Academy for Community-Based Education. #GACBE supports students in addressing systemic challenges in their own community, teaching how to ask questions of shareholders outside the classroom, and looking for feasible community-driven solutions. It's the ultimate inquiry-driven project-based holistic learning model. This mode of discourse has the power to transform by creating new perspectives for decision-makers, building connections across sectors, and empowering the youth to envision a role in their community's future. I have the honor of serving on the board of this brand new 501c3. It has established impact and tremendous potential. Because we are a new nonprofit, your help can make a tremendous difference, whatever the amount. Please donate at https://lnkd.in/eCnWDubs. To learn more, visit www.CBEglobal.org. Providing Equal Access to Education for All Globally, the youth literacy rate increased from 83 percent to 91 percent over two decades, while the number of illiterate youths declined from 170 million to 115 million. Regional and gender disparities persist, however. Literacy is lowest in the least developed countries and higher among males than females Donate Us: https://lnkd.in/gey3eAdV #sponsorforchild, #donatefororphan, #childeducation, #ngochildeducation, #donateforeducation, #girlchildeducation, #sponsorforpoorchild, #sponsororphanage #sponsororphanchild, #charity, #educationforchild, #seruds, #kurnool https://lnkd.in/g6ZGvUev

✨Attention Parents! ✨ In today's world, children are encountering diverse ideologies at such an early age, including acceptance of various sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions. So, it has become more vital than ever to instill values that highlight the sanctity of life. We also recognize the need to provide our children with a deeper understanding of this concept. That's why we're thrilled to introduce a valuable resource aimed at helping you share insights into the sacredness of life with your children. This resource is tailored to grow with them, offering perspectives that resonate with your family's beliefs and values. As societal norms evolve, it's essential to equip our children with the tools to navigate these complexities while staying grounded in their convictions. Let's empower them to embrace empathy, compassion, and respect for all, while cherishing the sanctity of life. Together, let's shape a future where our children understand, appreciate, and honor the beauty and sanctity of every life. ➡Before You Were Born: https://lnkd.in/eY_guzNv ➡Before You Were Born (Spanish): https://lnkd.in/eNPQ7NeQ ➡➡Stay informed of the latest we are doing, to include our ❤24/7 Hotline. 💕💕CLICK BELOW To View/Download Our Donation/Mobile App Link /Hotline info: https://lnkd.in/ggke7e-6 We are a Christian based organization; however, we strive to help anyone in need regardless of Religion or other.
