5 reasons why marketers and brand leaders should not choose We are Duffree: 1. If you're a fan of slow communication and rigid hierarchies, we're not for you. We insist on being direct and personal. 2. Don't pick us if you want a one-size-fits-all team. Our annoying habit? Tailoring our talent to fit your project perfectly. 3. For those who prefer stale, rigid ideas, we're a terrible choice. Our creativity, production and adaptation flexibility might be too fresh and agile. 4. Do you love getting less for more? Then, we might disappoint you with our cost-efficient quality, which gives you more bang for your buck. 5. If you're looking for a partner who can't handle everything from A to Z in creative #storytelling, steer clear—we're compulsively comprehensive. Embracing horizon views and innovative spirits at the heart of our #creative #production hub. Comment or DM if you would like to know more reasons! :)

What do #creatives want? Simple. 💡 A leader who believes in their ideas. 💡 That doesn't mean you have to use all of their ideas now or ever. Some ideas take years to become creative works. Think Beethoven't 9th Symphony. Others come quickly like brilliant flashes and are gone. Think whatever was trending on TikTok last week, maybe? 🛰 Space (and ⏲ time) to work. Lessons in Chemistry, The Barbie Movie, Olivia Rodrigo's, Vampire and every single Super Bowl commercial you'll see on February 11 are easy to consume but they took time and effort to create. Give creatives the time and space they need to do great work. 🧢 But be available to coach 🧢 The creative process is a collaborative one. And while creatives may seem like they're all over the place, a good coach can help keep them inspired and on track. 🤔 Honest feedback 🤔 I know, I know. Artists...they're so temperamental. There may be some truth to that but, creative professionals became professional because someone cared enough to give them honest feedback. Like anyone else, they can disagree with the feedback but most creatives are trained to be open to feedback. Honest, thoughtful feedback demonstrates you respect the work - and your creative professionals. 🙌 A champion 🙌 Whether you lead an in-house team or you work for an agency, your team is looking to you to champion their work. Demonstrate how the creative aligns with their vision and strategic goals. A creative leader is expected to be the expert in creative. Be the champion your team needs. Did I miss anything? Add your thoughts in the comments. 🎨 ✍ 🎭 📽 #creativedirector #creativedirection #marketing #advertising

Whether you’re developing campaigns, engaging your audience, or solving complex problems, the ability to think creatively can make all the difference in how impactful your work is. 👉 But how do you tap into that creativity when the ideas aren’t flowing? 👈 Here are 3 simple ways you can start thinking differently today: ❶ A shift in surroundings can bring a new perspective. If you’re always brainstorming at your desk, take your ideas outside, or even to a different room to unlock fresh insights. ❷ Surprisingly, limits can spark creativity. Try setting a time limit or restricting resources in your next brainstorming session – you might find yourself forced to think outside the box. ❸ Challenge assumptions by asking "What if?" E.G. "What if budget wasn’t a concern?" or "What if we started from scratch?" This approach opens up new possibilities and perspectives. Ready to unlock your creative potential? I remember when I had my first unhappy client, the imposter syndrome came in quickly! I second guessed myself, question my strategy, thought of packing it up; the works... but I learned from it. I learned how to listen more effectively. Some times, as a consultant I hear what they want and not with they need. Everyone wants the moon and the stars, but what do they actually need? #consultant #marketingconsultant #businessgrowth #strategy #feedback

Consistency isn’t a ‘nice to have’—it’s a need to have. Consistency isn’t just a business buzzword—it’s a non-negotiable. Consistency isn't just about how often you post; it means knowing your goals, understanding your audience’s needs, and delivering value with intent and clarity. Every time. If you want to be seen as a leader in your industry, team, or business, you can’t afford to show up only when it’s convenient. You have to show up when it’s inconvenient. When you're tired and busy. When it feels hard and repetitive. When you think no one is watching. Because trust me, people are watching—especially the algorithm. What’s the biggest challenge you face in staying consistent online? Let me know below. #boldmood #linkedgrowth

Navigating client feedback in the creative field can be challenging due to the subjective nature of creativity. One key to managing this is learning to emotionally detach from your work, which—though difficult—helps you better understand and consider the client's perspective. By doing so, you open the door to more constructive conversations, leading to stronger collaborations and, ultimately, better results for both you and your client. It’s not about abandoning your creative vision, but about finding a balance between your expertise and the client’s needs. #branding #creativity

🔥 Hot take: You should take more creative risks. Here's why… Nearly every client who hires us to write and design their keynotes, starts by saying: ⁌ “I want this to be bold.” ⁌ "I want this to be fresh." ⁌ "I want this to REALLY stand out." So, we’ll get our creative juices flowing and then we’ll come back with fun, bold, and creative ideas. #BlueSkyThinking But more often than not, when we take our out-of-the-box ideas to our client, they'll say something to the effect of: “Well, maybe not THAT bold.” Here’s the thing. True creativity requires risk. And when it comes to business presentations, people typically try to avoid risk. We can sometimes think, what if we take a big swing and strike out? Or what if it doesn’t resonate with our customers? Or worst of all, what if we become a meme? Because we get nervous about the potential risks of being creative, we end up saying the same thing, the same way, year after year. Because it’s SAFE. 🚫 Here's an example of a creative risk: One of our C-Suite clients strategically uses dad jokes in all of his speeches. Risky? Perhaps. But he’s made it such a signature move, his audience not only looks forward to them, they expect them. People show up just to hear his dad jokes, and as a result, they’re more open to hearing his key business messages, too! How would we rate this creative risk? ✔️ Unique. ✔️ Creative. ✔️ ✔️ Certainly not boring. Bottom-line: Creativity can feel risky. But if you choose to avoid creativity, you’re running the risk that you’ll be forgettable. There are risks to not being creative, too! What do you think? Let us know in the comments. ⬇️ #HotTake #CreativeRisks #NoMoreForgettableSpeeches
