⬇️ Steal our New Donor Welcome Series ⬇️ A system-generated receipt isn't good enough. Yet that’s all I’ve received from two different orgs in the past month. Do better. It’s so easy. We use this series - or something similar - as one of the first automated series we set up in your email automation tool. 💡The core elements of individual donor stewardship can be automated.💡 (You are using an email automation tool, right?) This series is triggered when a new donation is received from a first time donor. It's easy because we use tools that work together seamlessly - Fundraise Up + HubSpot - that allow us to use data about donors to build sequences. Then, we branch the emails to encourage one-time gifts to turn into recurring gifts (again, data is passed from Fundraise Up straight into HubSpot). The first time we do this is the very last email in this sequence – but don't worry - we've got sequences for that, too. Now, this is just the structure of the sequence; the real magic comes in the storytelling and how you connect with those new donors around issues that are important to them.
