Lightboxes should be a standard for any digital fundraising campaign by now. Do they interrupt the website experience? Yes. They're SUPPOSED TO. They work. Plain and simple. I've had clients 2-3x their campaign revenue when adding lightboxes.

A few sobering stats from the "Household Food Insecurity in Canada, 2022"◽ report: ◾ 22.9% of households in Newfoundland and Labrador experienced some degree of food insecurity in the previous 12 months, amounting to 116,000 people. ◾ This is the highest rate in any of the ten provinces in Canada. ◾ 28.8% of children under 18 in Newfoundland and Labrador lived in food-insecure households. A few years ago, DonationScout set out to streamline restaurant fundraisers even more with a new ePayments system. We aimed to simplify the payment process with seamless online transactions. This experience highlights the importance of iteration in product development.
