💬 “I’ve worked at the intersection of data, research, and policy for many years,” remembers IDinsight Global Lead – DataDelta Sarah T. Lucas as she shares the difference she hopes high-quality survey data will have for social sector decision-makers globally. 🌀In her QA, published earlier this year, read how DataDelta is transforming the way social sector leaders drive change and the differences our initiative will bring for decision-makers globally. 🔗 Read Sarah’s QA: https://bit.ly/45jjV20 🔗 Learn more about DataDelta: https://bit.ly/3Kzoxt1

Pleased to share this important report created by Elizabeth Sweet about Asian American transracial adoptee experiences titled "Threads of Visibility: Asian American Adoptees Share Their Experiences, the Nuances of Adoptee Identity, and Ways to Uplift Adoptee Voices". It includes many important points about being an adoptee that I have heard over the years working in mental health hospitals, cross-cultural classrooms and groups. The healing answers are in the cultural nuances which the mainstream is generally not aware of yet. Great work, Elizabeth.
Excited to share that during my time as a DNA Fellow with AAPI Data, I have had the honor of conducting a qualitative research project focused on amplifying the experiences of Asian American transracial adoptees. I am thrilled to share my findings in the form of a public report entitled "Threads of Visibility: Asian American Adoptees Share Their Experiences, the Nuances of Adoptee Identity, and Ways to Uplift Adoptee Voices" As a Korean American transracial adoptee, this work is incredibly meaningful and the process has been personally empowering. Adoptee visibility is so important and when focused on can be a step toward greater intersectional data equity! My biggest thanks to the entire AAPI Data team, but especially my mentor Fontane Lo for their support and guidance in this venture!
