One person can save up to 8 lives by gifting their organs. Up to 75 lives can be enhanced with one person donating tissue. As many as 2 people could have their sight restored with cornea donation. What is Organ Donation Week? Organ Donation Week is a campaign that takes place every year, raising awareness about the ongoing need for organ donors. More than 7,600 people are in need of an organ transplant, including over 250 children.  Each year around 1,400 people donate, but despite these remarkable people the waiting list continues to rise. Please make your decision known to your loved ones, whether you choose to register as an organ donor, or not.
