Just because two #biospecimens seem like they should be the same, it doesn’t mean they are. Obtaining biospecimens that are not only high quality but also representative is critical for being able to trust your research results… At BioIVT, we follow strict QC and ethical policies, and diagnosis of our #ffpetissue blocks is verified by board-certified pathologists to ensure they are representative. Our #tissuesamples, biofluids and cellular preparations are extensively characterized and include robust clinical/donor data to allow you to better determine relevance and impact on research results. Can you trust your biospecimens?

Evidence of CRISPR-based gene editing success..! CRISPR gene editing, while holding immense promise for treating genetic disorders and advancing scientific research, also presents several challenges. Off-target effects, where the CRISPR system unintentionally edits genes other than the target, remain a significant concern, potentially leading to unforeseen consequences. Additionally, the delivery of CRISPR components into target cells accurately and efficiently, especially in vivo, remains a hurdle. Ethical considerations surrounding the editing of germline cells, which could lead to heritable changes in future generations, raise profound ethical dilemmas. Furthermore, the accessibility and affordability of CRISPR technology for widespread use, particularly in developing countries, pose equity issues, limiting its universal benefit. Addressing these challenges will be crucial for realizing the full potential of CRISPR gene editing while ensuring its safe and ethical application. But good chunk of research in crisper-based gene editing is being taken up by various scientists to overcome aforementioned challenges and make it all available for public.
