Diflufenican blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, by inhibition of phytoene desaturase.It is a selective contact and residual herbicide, absorbed principally by the shoots of germinating seedlings, with limited translocation. PYRACLOSTROBIN 150G/L+ DIFENOCONAZOLE 150G/L SC This product is the combined formulation of Pyraclostrobin and Difenoconazole. Difenoconazole is a fungicide used for disease control in many fruits, vegetables, cereals and other field crops. Although potentially a mobile molecule it is unlikely to leach due to its low aqueous solubility. It does however have potential for particle bound transport. It is known that Sulphur can affect the cycle of Verticillium, a fungal pathogen that causes wilt in a wide range of host plants. Sulphur, used as a soil amendment, can influence soil pH and microbial communities, which in turn can affect the prevalence and activity of soil-borne pathogens like Verticillium. Lowering Soil pH: Sulphur can be used to lower the soil pH, creating conditions that are less favorable for Verticillium. This fungus tends to thrive in neutral to slightly alkaline soils, so adjusting the pH to be more acidic can help suppress its growth. Enhancing Microbial Activity: By lowering the pH and adding sulphur, certain beneficial soil microbes that can antagonize or suppress soil-borne pathogens may be promoted. These microbes can outcompete or inhibit the Verticillium fungus through various mechanisms, such as competing for nutrients or secreting antagonistic substances. Nutrient Availability: Sulphur is also crucial for plant health, improving resistance to stress and disease.
