Substantial limitations in terms of accessibility, throughput, and the trade-off between resolution and field of view have long been challenges in #SpatialTranscriptomics. By leveraging carbodiimide chemistry, spatial combinatorial indexing, and serpentine microfluidics, #MAGICseq offers a game-changing solution. This sensitive and robust #SpatialTranscriptomics approach generates strips that crisscross multiple times, enabling multiple spots to share the same barcode combinations. With just 70 barcodes and three crossovers, MAGIC-seq reduces the required barcodes by two orders of magnitude and boosts throughput by eightfold. While most sequencing-based #SpatialTranscriptomics methods offer capture areas of less than 1 cm, MAGIC-seq can achieve an impressive 3.2 cm x 3.2 cm area with 640,000 spots at 20 μm resolution—and at significantly lower cost. https://lnkd.in/eawun8Ny #SpatialTranscriptomics #Multiomics #TranslationalResearch
