The attached paper published in 2020, provides information and recommendations to support healthcare practitioners in the safe and effective prescription and delivery of Larval Therapy, based on expert consensus. ➡ Larval Therapy is described as a rapid, cost-effective and highly selective form of debridement that can be used in any healthcare setting as part of a wound care plan. ➡ First line in the debridement of lower leg wounds and second line in foot wounds, when speed, selectivity and bioburden are important factors in care. ➡ The proposed pathway places Larval Therapy clearly within the wider wound care arena and is in line with the lower limb clinical work stream of the National Wound Care Strategy Programme. Misconceptions and do-not-resuscitate preferences of healthcare professionals commonly involved in cardiopulmonary resuscitations: A national survey. 🚑 Explored healthcare professionals' DNR preferences in a Swiss survey 🇨🇭. 85% preferred DNR in case vignettes, but only 53.2% for themselves. Predictors: personal DNR preference, lower estimated survival rates 📉. Physicians were more likely to choose DNR than nurses/paramedics.
