What is the value of ”Take Your Daughter to Work Day? We think it is education and empathy, so the child knows what the parent does daily, but it is so much more. It instills lifelong work values. Meahgan Gibson attended a “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. To this day she reminds me of a few choice words I stated during a staff meeting but she also pursued a career in Leisure and Hospitality. More importantly she picked up values like; everybody is critical to success (especially the lowest paid hourly associates), every person has a story, treat people with dignity and respect, and if they have a name tag, user their name. Grow by trying new things that others shy away from. Powerful words are “thank you” and “can you help me”, and assisting others even if you do not have time. Today this was in my feed. I had no idea she was working on this. Biscuits and socks, who knew? But more importantly, a young professional (from a generation many professionals belittle) leading a project that reflects well on the brand and does good for the community. Also hats off to Dennis Pfaff, Maple Street Biscuit Company and Cracker Barrel for creating an organization culture where young professional growth occurs. Take your daughter to work and as a leader, your relationships matter more than you know. #cio #leadership
TLDR: I've been working on something pretty cool! "The Maple Street Mantra: Help People, Serve Others, Be A Part Of The Community" is why I joined the team. I'm grateful to Maple Street Biscuit Company for allowing me to take on something so near and dear to who we are. *Maple Street Silly Socks* a portion of sock sales will go directly to LifeQuest Organ Recovery Services and U.F. Health, supporting their incredible work to maximize the Gift of Life through organ and tissue donation. This is particularly meaningful because giving back has always been a big part of who I am. From working with the Miami Children's Initiative during my time at the University of Florida to my work with the Harrison County Community Foundation, I've seen firsthand the impact we can make when we come together. Your support means the world and will help create positive change in our community. P.S. The socks are pretty cool as well https://lnkd.in/gKJnfwB6

Talking about the technology is one thing - learning about how the technology can be implemented with Life Connection of Ohio to help change the trajectory of peoples lives takes it to another level. So impressed with altafiber's commitment to using this technology to help solve various issues companies are facing, regardless of industry. And to think, we are only at the very beginning of this journey. John Scola Mike LaGue, BSEE, CPM, WCP Dan Mazza

🌟 Exciting News: Supporting Our Veterans 🌟 We are proud to announce our recent collaboration with Team #6 of Leadership Green Bay in their remarkable initiative alongside Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin. Together, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of veterans facing housing insecurity in our community. 🏡 The Vision: Creating a supportive community for our veterans, the project envisions the construction of 21 cottage homes and a Community Center. This initiative is not just about providing shelter but also about fostering a sense of belonging and support among those who served our country. 🛠 Our Contribution: To aid in the realization of this noble cause, our focus has been on fundraising efforts to construct a carriage house. This essential structure will serve as a central storage facility for tools and materials during the construction phase and later transition to a maintenance and storage hub for the residents and the community. 🤝 Why It Matters: By supporting this project, we're not only contributing to the physical structure of a community but also reinforcing the foundation of support and gratitude for our veterans. It's our way of giving back to those who have given so much. We invite our network to join us in this endeavor, whether through contributions, sharing this message, or volunteering. Together, we can make a substantial impact on the lives of veterans in need. Individual donations can be made here: https://lnkd.in/geS2mgen
What a remarkable feeling it is to get members of our own Green Bay Community to come together for Team #6 project! We are greatful for all the outreach our project has gained. Thank you so much to Fairchild Equipment for their generous donation! We are still accepting new sponsors. Reach out if you would like more information. A safe, loving home – it’s one of the bare necessities, and yet, there are hundreds of children in our community who aren’t guaranteed one. You can help us change that. When you donate to Safe Children Coalition through the Flanzer Philanthropic Trust, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling your impact and changing a child’s life. Whether it’s providing nights at our youth shelter to a homeless teen or helping an at-risk family access the resources they need to get back on track, your generosity will change lives. Double your impact today and help us continue supporting children in our community: sccfl.org/double-up.

Becoming a monthly donor to ACH Child and Family Services is like adding building bricks to a growing creation. Each individual piece may seem small and simple on its own. But, as you continue to add regularly, they come together to make a larger, stronger and impactful structure. Your monthly contributions, no matter their size, accumulate over time to provide the building blocks that support and strengthen the programs and services ACH offers. Each donation, like each brick, adds to the foundation of support that helps children and families build brighter futures. >> https://bit.ly/ACHhero
