'May' is a good month to plan 'Family day' or 'Bring your kids to work' with the kids summer vacations on. From small workshops and Diy activities to carnival formats we can create customised and niche sessions for organisations. Afterall, bonds with colleagues are formed not just at work but also when families 'meet and greet' and spend time together. #familydayatwork #bringyourkidstowork #corporateevents #employeeengagement

This is our summer team building activity. While we all have a few days “in-office” together each week, summer vacations can make it a bit hit and miss. So, we are co-creating a new world (1000 piece puzzle) together. The only rule is that everyone participates for a minimum of 15 minutes a week and a maximum of 30. Can visitors join in? Sure. 15 minutes. Can two or more work on the puzzle at the same time? Absolutely - though this is not for everyone. (Ambar Syed and Ursula Ladner ) Can you ask the CEO whose office the puzzle is in to take her laptop elsewhere? You bet. Honestly Christopher Kannampuzha and Farzana N. it is totally fine to kick me out!! Once the puzzle is done, our office elder Joan along with her sidekick Nada will choose how to celebrate. And, we will all answer two questions. 1. What did you learn about your colleagues through this co-creation process? 2. What did you learn about yourself? Easy. Fun. A sense of accomplishment. Will keep you posted on our progress. Let us know if you decide to try this and how it goes. Happy team building. #braingames #puzzles #teams #teambuilding

Founder and CEO at Obeya I Serving at 18+ locations I 80+ satisfied clients across Bangalore I Entrepreneur I Chartered Accountant
I took my team for an offsite visit and I must say, the energy it brings and the bond it creates, stays in our hearts. Offsite visits aren't just about scenery; they're about energy and stronger bonds. Here's why I believe in them: New Perspectives: Being somewhere different sparks new ideas. During our offsite visit, we came up with ideas we never thought of in the office. Nature's Boost: Being outside makes us feel good. My team felt happier and more excited when we were outdoors during our offsite trip. Breaking Barriers: Offsites make everyone equal. We worked better together and talked more openly when we were away from the office. Building Trust: Trust is important. Offsite activities help us trust each other more. Fueling Passion: Offsites make us excited. We all felt more alive when we did things we loved as a team. Memorable Moments: Offsite memories stick with us. The fun times we had will always bring us closer together. Taking my team on an offsite adventure was worth it. The energy and bond we gained will help us face challenges together. Here's to more adventures! #TeamBuilding #OffsiteAdventures #BondingTime #LeadershipDevelopment

Navigating Through Office Challenges Together! Dear LinkedIn Community, As we navigate through another week in the ever-evolving landscape of the workplace, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the challenges many of us face on a daily basis. From balancing demanding deadlines to juggling personal and professional responsibilities, the journey of an office worker is often filled with both triumphs and tribulations. In the midst of our hectic schedules and pressing deadlines, it's easy to forget that vulnerability is not a sign of weakness, but rather a testament to our humanity. Whether it's grappling with imposter syndrome, overcoming setbacks, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of our roles, it's important to remember that we are not alone in our struggles. As we strive to foster a culture of empathy and support within our workplaces, let us remember to extend kindness not only to others, but also to ourselves. Let us create spaces where open dialogue is encouraged, where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth, and where authenticity is celebrated. So, to all my fellow office warriors, I want to remind you that it's okay to not have it all figured out. It's okay to ask for help when you need it, and it's okay to take a moment to breathe amidst the chaos. May your upcoming work week be filled with resilience, courage, and moments of grace. Happy weekend!

People often ask me my opinion on the 70-hour workweek debate. And I do not have a point of view because I believe it’s the wrong debate to be having. Instead, we should be having conversations to help people figure out their ‘for’. It's not just about punching in and out of #work; it's about what gets us out of bed in the morning. Meaning, it’s not about work. It’s about what we work FOR. Sure, we usually think of work as our 9-to-5, but there's a whole universe out there, where hitting the gym, tossing a ball around, or diving into something cool and exciting also counts as work. Are we not working when we learn something cool? Are we not working when we meet people who open our minds to new, different #perspectives? Work has many definitions. According to this definition, we're basically working every second of the day. We work, we eat, and we sleep. Everything we do in the day is ‘for’ something. Without a clear #purpose, our minds will turn into the devil's playground. And without a solid 'for,' we end up debating whether we should be working for #70hours or dreaming of a #fourdayweek. It’s not about when or how long we work. It’s about the moments when we never even realized that we ‘worked’.

☀️With the warmer weather here☀️ a common query I receive is "Is it too late to organise an office summer party?" Quick answer: No, it's not too late! You can submit a TEN (Temporary Event Notice) to your local authority, informing them of your event up to 7 days prior (although waiting this late definitely isn't recommended!) While more planning time is typically preferred if you can be flexible with some details and your guest list is under 499 it's entirely possible to put together a successful event on ‘shorter’ notice. There’s also the option of a ‘venue share’ Which is still an exclusive hire to your company ⬇️ But at a significantly lower cost since your going 50/50 with another local firm I have a few dates available this summer where this option is still available. So if you’ve been lumped with this task And looking for a memorable experience for your team…. Hollar!

Founder & CEO at The Weekend Door - Key To Your Happy Place Luxury Vacation Rental Stays | Second Home Vacation Villas Realtor in Hyderabad.
For most people, their office is the most boring place. So, when we step out of the office, we want to go somewhere special. Now the specialty of the place can vary from being as peaceful and cozy as home or as adventurous and fun as trekking with friends. And HRs should keep that in mind while planning team outings. It should be a place where your team can laugh, smile, enjoy, and create the best memories of the year. Whether it's celebrating milestones, bonding over shared experiences, or simply unwinding together in a new environment, these moments create deeper connections and strengthen team cohesion. As an organization, you prioritize the well-being and unity of your team. That's why it's necessary to invest in these special occasions and vacations. So take the time to pause, celebrate, and connect together at The Weekend Door, where you can create memories that will last a lifetime and propel your team towards greater success. #Weekendexperiences #HRS #Founders
