Why is U.S. Health Care so...? You fill in the blank. You can certainly argue it's frustrating (hence the new transparency laws in the Consolidated Appropriations Act we're helping clients through for the first time). This is because it's not a one size fits all approach. In fact, it's the complete opposite. Every claim is unique and every group health plan is customizable. It makes it very personal. Health Care involves our two biggest assets: our health and our money. I wanted to share this as it ties into other recent posts. It's not impossible, but we do work daily to keep cracking the code (or what I call the whack a mole approach). Employers CAN offer accessible, high quality, and low cost care to employees.
