Really pleased & proud to have published the VOLCANO trial in Langenbeck's Archives of Surgery, showing that open console robotic surgery reduces surgeon ergonomic risk during major colorectal resection. This is the first randomised controlled trial of open console robotic ergonomics (using CMR Surgical's #Versius system) and the first RCT from our research group at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
