If you’ve gone through rounds of product interviews, you know it’s not just about skills and experience - how you approach solving problems is half the battle. That’s why we were thrilled to spend time at the Netflix NYC headquarters for a hands-on workshop on Thinking Like a PM. #BPMNYC members enjoyed a panel discussion and breakout sessions where they were able to tackle challenging prompts. A huge thank you to Netflix for graciously hosting us, our esteemed panel, and our organizers for another great event! . . . #BPM #BlackProductManagers #ProductManagers #TechProfessionals

Can use frameworks like the 5 Whys to structure your analysis. 🔢 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: Break down complex problems and make logical, data-driven assumptions. Structured thinking is key! 🎨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧: Understand user needs and design intuitive, user-friendly features. Keep business objectives in mind and iterate based on feedback. 📈 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲: Analyze market trends, set clear goals, and align your roadmap with the company’s vision.
