Our team had an extremely proactive trip to the #windeurope2024 exhibition in Bilbao this week and like our robots, made good use of a narrow window of opportunity to successfully grow our network and generate new business interest. As a people-centric business, BladeBUG prides itself on building deep and enduring partnerships so it was great to make time and meet with our highly valued customers, suppliers, and overseas partners including robotic lead engineer Lisandro Puglisi from EDP who are this year's event ambassadors and will be visiting us during our next project in Spain. Make no mistake, the wind sector is growing rapidly and the exhibition halls echoed that vibrant energy, thriving with people networking and businesses collaborating to find new innovative ways of working #safer, #faster, and #smarter through #innovation and #technology adoption. By 2030 it is reported that the sector will employ over 500,000 people in Europe alone, up from 300,000 jobs today presenting a significant challenge of finding additional skilled workers in such a short time frame. Adopting technologies such as #ai and #robotics to deliver greater levels of #autonomy is a fundamental step towards addressing this challenge as it enhances capability and enables teams to work more efficiently and effectively without necessarily increasing headcount. We believe that working with industry to understand these challenges is critical to developing the right solutions and enables growing innovative businesses like BladeBUG to support a strong, sustainable, and competitive economy.
