For HCPs, the real questions are: For every ten SCS patients, which one WON’T need an MRI? And For every ten SCS patients, which are the five or so who WON’T have impedance issues when they need an MRI? Why guess when you don’t have to? #medtronicemployee #advancingtherapies #enhancingoutcomes #midsouthdistrict
In a recent independent study, 43% of non-Medtronic‡ SCS patients lost MRI eligibility at 5 years due to out-of-range impedances (1). Medtronic SureScan™ SCS systems are not dependent on impedance, ensuring 100% of SCS patients retain unmatched access† to this important diagnostic tool. 6moI agree! Why limit what imaging study a patient can get. That said full body 3T would be great. A company that offers that would really be cutting edge.
