Imagine a world where no one has to face the fear of severe diseases alone. This is the vision that drives 💚 Blake's Army, a collective effort born out of the need to support Blake Dridan and countless others fighting bone marrow failure. The journey of Blake's Army underscores the critical role of community support in navigating the challenges posed by severe health conditions. ➡ Through collective action, Blake's Army not only raises significant funds for vital research but also spreads awareness about aplastic anaemia far and wide. This journey highlights how community involvement can bring about real change, offering hope and tangible support to those in need. As members of this community, every little action we take can contribute to a larger wave of support. Whether it's through participating in fundraising events, sharing Blake's story, or making a donation, your involvement makes you a part of something much bigger. 💪 Let's stand together for Blake and for everyone facing a similar battle. Today is the day! Your final chance to make a lasting impact during San Diego Gives. But today is not just any day—it's also the International Day of Charity, a global call to action, and September marks Suicide Awareness Month, a time to stand united in support of mental health and suicide prevention. Your support has never been more crucial. As we navigate these final hours, we need your help to lift up our local veteran and military community. These brave men and women have given so much, and now it's our turn to give back. Why Your Support Matters: Impact: Your donations are the lifeline that allows us to deliver essential career coaching, mentoring, and training to veterans and their families. Every dollar you contribute directly reduces unemployment, prevents veteran suicides, and empowers military spouses to find meaningful civilian careers. Your support is not just a donation; it's a life-changing investment in our heroes' futures. Community: Together, we are a force for good. By joining hands, we’re making San Diego a better place for those who have sacrificed so much for our country. How You Can Help: Donate to VETS - Beyond The Uniform (https://lnkd.in/gBme582Y): Even the smallest contribution can make a world of difference. Your generosity today can change lives—please consider donating now. Share: Spread the word by sharing our campaign with #SanDiegoGives. Let your community know that supporting our active duty, veterans, and military spouses is a cause worth championing. This is the moment to make a difference. Your support today will help veterans and their families gain the resources they need to thrive in civilian life. Let’s honor their service by standing with them now. Thank you for being a part of this important mission! VETS - Beyond The Uniform If you're undecided on where to donate, consider supporting the "Love Them All Fund," which benefits multiple local nonprofits. #SanDiegoGives #DayOfGiving #CollectiveImpact #SupportOurVeterans #MilitaryFamilies #SanDiego #VeteranSupport #Empowerment #Community #MissionDriven #CommunitySupport #Donate

Latest update!
Update on Compassion Coffee! Back in 2018, God gave us a vision to start a church with a heart to show compassion to those in need. Compassion Church was born as a result, along with the vision for Compassion Coffee. We started Compassion Coffee because of our deep desire to love our community well. While we currently operate a coffee cart, the dream is to open a brick and mortar coffeehouse! A coffeehouse not only gives us the opportunity to bring joy to Anoka every day through kindness and coffee, but also provides an opportunity to make a practical difference in the community by employing people affected by homelessness. While Compassion Coffee has always been wholly owned by Compassion Church, we’re excited to share that Compassion Coffee is now nonprofit! The main reason for this is that it allows us to share Compassion’s story more clearly and creates more opportunities for people to financially support. Our focus this year is to establish a training program and get the coffeehouse open! As we put time and energy into that, we also need your financial support. We’d love for you to consider a one-time or recurring donation, which is now tax-deductible. Donate here - https://lnkd.in/gmHCq8-v Thank you so much for your ongoing support! We’re confident there are some great things in store for 2024!!

OTTF’s mission is to help reduce the veteran suicide rate from an average of 22 a day to zero. Their mission is structured through three pillars of support. Pillar One – Community Awareness. We attend many locally hosted events to educate the public about veteran suicide and how they can help. Pillar Two – Veteran Outreach Programs. We have an emergency assistance fund for our veterans, a Christmas assistance fund, emergency counseling assistance. New for 2022 is Get Fit with OTTF and OTTF Veteran Family Nights. Pillar Three – Fundraising Efforts. We hosts multiple fundraising events throughout the year to support veterans. We have several funding programs to assist both local and national veterans. Locally we partner with other nonprofit organizations with an interest in assisting veterans. We provide the said organization with organizational needs and veteran emergency assistance. A designated portion of proceeds is donated directly to charities with a substantial interest in assisting veterans. - - - - #noonefightsalone #VeteranSuicideAwareness #EndTheSilence #SaveOurHeroes #22aday #SupportOurTroops #BreakTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #ReachOut #YouAreNotAlone #CombattingSuicide
