Team Building Strategist: Helping to build strong teams.🤝 Expertise in Game Based Programs & hosted 500+ Team Building Programs.
We’re quick to show gratitude to others. But how often do we turn that appreciation inward? Recently, I received an award for a two-day team-building program I conducted for a manufacturing company. This recognition felt different. I’ve received numerous accolades before, but I rarely shared them. I was always focused on the next goal, the “do more” mindset that kept me from pausing to celebrate my achievements. This time, I decided to change that. Here’s what I realized: “It’s tough to reach new goals if I don’t appreciate what I’ve already accomplished.” Self-appreciation isn’t just about boosting your ego—it’s about motivating yourself to keep moving forward. It’s about recognizing your efforts and building a foundation of self-love that drives you toward greater success. Thank you, Suba Solutions Private Limited, for the appreciation.🙏 This award isn’t just a token—it’s a reminder to value the progress I’ve made and the journey I’m on. P.S. This photo inspires me to appreciate more of myself.🏆 #teambuilding #training #corporates

So many times we just consume small wins and move onto the next thing- pause, praise yourself, celebrate you. As a manager and a mentor I always tell people to share their successes regardless of how small or big, if you get recognition for a task completed- share it, for delivering a project- share it, for leading a meeting - share it… all the way to industry level awards, share them…… go home and tell your family of your wins and note them down for yourselves. I personally have a board I like to add a note to. We work so hard and we need to celebrate that work. So share with us. What have you achieved recently and how will you celebrate your wins?

Reminder: the winners are often the last ones standing. 🏆 It isn't always about being the best ALL the time. Whilst it's important to provide value, it's also important to show up consistently. Winners aren't one-hit-wonders, they're the ones who were able to show out regularly. Don't be discouraged by a lack of uptake, engagement or recognition. Eventually it will come if you're able to stay standing the longest. The 1% you can complete every day will eventually add up to 100%. Keep going! #ThoughtOfTheDay #HighPerformance

Why does every Oscar speech focus on the people who helped them get there, instead of the person accepting the award? It’s because high achievers recognize that they could never have done it on their own. This is why surrounding yourself with the right people is crucial. Does that mean you have to cut down on everyone who won’t help in accelerating your success in your life? Certainly not. Let them be in your life if you want to, but most importantly surround yourself with the right pack. Find new people who can hold your hand in your success journey. Find the right people who will have your back during tiring times. Find success-hungry people who will push you to do better. Find people who can tell you the hard truth. Don’t stagnate your growth just because the people around you aren’t helpful. #selfdevelopment #stayfocused #Alpha5Method

Awards serve as powerful motivators, not because they define our worth, but because they remind us of the value we bring to others. They push us to aim higher, challenging our potential. But are awards really needed? Not necessarily. The true recognition lies in the dedication we put into our work, the impact we make, and the personal growth we experience along the way. Yet, when awards come, they offer a moment of reflection—a pause to appreciate our journey and the people who have been a part of it. If we focus on bettering ourselves each day, the rewards—tangible or not—will follow. "In the quiet moments of reflection, we discover that the value we place on others is a mirror of the value we hold within ourselves. let's celebrate every step of the journey, big or small, and find motivation in our continuous efforts rather than the recognition alone. #NeverStopEvolving #JourneyOverAwards #ResilienceMatters

As you head into the weekend, remember that recognition is a powerful tool. Trickling this message of encouragement down to your team can boost morale and strengthen your bond. Take a moment to acknowledge their hard work, celebrate the small wins, and let them know they’re valued. A little recognition goes a long way in building a motivated, loyal team ready to tackle the next week with confidence! 💫 #TeamRecognition #RetailLeadership #CelebrateSuccess retailtrainer.pro

I used to only celebrate the big wins. I couldn't have been more wrong. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗜 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁: 1. Deals closing 2. People surpassing quota 3. Promotions Completely brushed over the other great things that happened to my team. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝘄𝗶𝗻- Celebrations help people feel: 1. Recognized and appreciated 2. It boosts morale and motivation 3. It recognizes achievements 4. It fosters a positive culture that can be contagious within a team Moreover, these celebrations provide an excellent opportunity to reinforce core values and behaviors that drive success. So let's make the most of every single victory – no matter how small. Start celebrating that sh*t!
